| 29 G Saltwater Tank |
| Not the best picture, sorry. I'm in the process of rearranging my office up here. BUT this is a picture from just now, August 19th. Water is down because when I filled the tank up initially I ran out of salt mix so I could only put like 20 gallons in and get it up to the correct sg. So now I have some more water mixing to add in. Three of the pieces of live rock have been in there for about a week now (the two in the front that have a lot of geen on them and the taller white one in the back), and the rest of them were just added this afternoon. The ones I added today have some nice coraline growth on them, I'm hoping it'll survive and continue to be purple. Afterall, what is prettier than purple?? They had about an hour ride in the car though so I'm expecting some dieoff :( Still trying to decide if I want more rock, waiting on a shipment of equipment so I can replace those two powerheads with a nice one, put some sand in the bottom of the tank (yeah I know sand and THEN rock would have made more sense...sue me lol) As far as equipment goes, I would like to find a small sump box that will fit under this stand so that I can make use of the nifty overflow box and plumbing that I bought for it...but my budget isn't going to allow me to spend like 100 bucks for a new one. Haven't decided what I want to put in here as far as stock goes yet, haven't gotten that far I guess. I'd like to try a shrimp I think and then see what kind of interesting fish I can get in here. |
