This one is a work in progress.  Actually I'm using it as an "experimental/learning" tank for the larger Saltwater tank I'm planning to work on this winter.  I added the last of the rock today (7/17/?05) and it needs to probably cycle for another week or so before I can add anything.   The budget actually tells me that I'm probably going to wait quite awhile and only add a tiny bit of stuff at once because things are SO expensive in Saltwater.  In FW I could stock this tank chock full of stuff for like 10 bucks.  SW even the shrimps are expensive!!  (we're talkin $20 for a single shrimp!)    Anyway...the plan is to get a couple of hermit crabs, some snails, some shrimp and one or two little fish.
This was the old SW setup...
20 Gallon Saltwater
(Update 1/29/06) I moved all of my saltwater things into this 20G setup.   Right now it is still bare bottom, I have the sand just need to take the time to get it washed and into the tank.

It is only housing a hermit crab and a nassarius snail at the moment. (and some pods of course heh)
These are my firefish and two pink skunk clownfish.   Unfortunately something went wrong after my last water change and I lost all three of them.  The firefish had been in the original tank and was moved to this one, so that was kind of a hard loss.   The pink skunks were only in the tank about 2 and a half weeks, but still long enough to be sort of attached.   After a few weeks when I get the sand into the tank and make sure that everything is ok I think I may get another pair of them.
Unfortunately after the deaths of the fish below I let the tank fall into a rut of, well ok I didn't touch it until I moved it upstairs just a couple weeks ago.  THIS is what it looked like before I moved it.  YUCK  -=gag=-
This is a pretty bad picture, better one soon I promise.   Anyway, everything has settled...mostly.   I have new sand in the bottom, hoping I didn't completely kill my live rock, but not sure yet.  The tank is sitting there with sand and rock, no critters until I know whether the LR is ok or not.  Whether it is or not I think I'll be stopping by a store to pick up another big piece soon and probably move some of the little pieces into a little 2g I have off to the side thats holding my hermit and a snail right now.  Let it cycle again and then go about adding critters.
Back to FISH
8/19/07 - Unfortunately after the move I didn't really do anything in addition to adding sand.  I got some chaeto sent to me via ebay and that took off and pretty much took over the tank lol.   I still have a nassarius snail that is living in the tank, but I get the feeling that the live rock isn't really that alive.  I dont know.   I can't really tell.   I guess I could get like a shrimp or something to put in there and test and see how it is.    I really need to do some water changes, clean it up and corral the chaeto before I do anything though hehe.
