| It Was Finished At Calvary |

| Our precious Lord was tried by Pilot one day
Crucify this Christ, some of the people did say. |
|
Through the city streets scorned and stoned
walked Jesus Christ, our Savior; all alone. |
| Carrying that cross to outside the city wall
So heavy the cross, sometimes he did fall. |
| Look at the Savior, you men of shame
Jesus Christ is his glorious name. |
| On Calvary they nailed him for all to see
On that cross he suffered so we can be free. |
| His mother knew this, for in Isaiah it was spoken
One of the crucified, no bones would be broken. |
| "It is finished", was the last words he said
He let out a sigh and slowly bowed is head. |
| Our savior died on the cross in Jerusalem that day
But through his death He is showing us the way. |
| The event was prophesied and some knew
This had to happen to save you, and me too. |
| He was put in the tomb they thought to stay
The stone was not there, it was rolled away. |
| On the third day He rose for you and me
