Tannim has escaped the Labyrinth with the help of Dragon when she was 8 years old. She is now 11 and has just received a letter to attend a Mensch Magic school. Tannim is bright for her age and animals, especially reptiles, tend to like her alot. Her best friend is Dragon, a Labyrinth Dragon that she healed when she wandered out of her village. She has developed a full-body bodysuit to wear to the school. Because of the runes tattooed on her body, she has to wear something to hide them. In addition, she wears her hair in a "schoolteacher" bun to hide the white tips. She must be careful not to let anyone at the school find out that she is not human.
