We've shared a roller coaster of emotions.
The ups and downs had word us out,
Loving and sweettalking mixed in with commotions.
Harder it became to maintain our love,
It seemed we fought almost daily.
Little things would set a spark,
And then we'd make up readily.
Forgiveness only goes so far,
We could only pardon so much.
All it took was one final push,
And that was the finishing touch... or so we thought.
I came to visit you one weekend,
Our relationship had started anew.
Seeing you was all it took,
For me to fall in love again, all it took was seeing you.
Tears of sadness and of joy,
As I was forced to return home.
Missing you and being in your arms,
And afraid of being alone.
My days were hard when I got back,
Each day longer than the former.
However, every day we were apart,
My heart to you grew warmer.
I'm unsure about our fate now,
And unsure about how we survived.
I'm glad I can say I love you, Angel,
Because our love has been revived!
