Sailor Moon R the movie: The Promise of the Rose

THE FUTURE DEPENDS ON SCOUT POWER!
Sailor Moon and her four Sailor Scouts (Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter) must save the Planet and her best friend Darien from the most evil and dangerous creature in the Universe; the bewitching and deadly, Kisenian Blossom. She appears as a beautiful, tiny flower, but looks can be deceiving!
Kisenian, traveling from a far away galaxy disgused as a meteor, aims to gather all the 'positive' energy from Earth and plant the seeds of 'negativity' leaving Earth full of hatred. But she can not do it on her own. Kisenian preys on the vulnerable heart of Darien's childhood friend, Fiore. Fiore, jealous of Sailor Moon and Darien's passionate friendship, jaoins Kisenian in her wicked endeavor to gather evergy from every star and planet!
Can the magic of Sailor Moon's Crystal and Scepter protect all of mankind from Kisenian's evil plan? Is she strong enough to save the Earth and her loved ones? Or will she be forced to choose between them?
OUR SUMMERY
In the movie Darien's child hood alien friend, who he thought he made up comes back to earth under the control of this evil plant thing, Kisenian. We learn that it was right after Darien and his parents were in that car crash that left Darien alone, that he meet Fiore. In the movie it says that Darien knew Fiore from the orphange, but that is impossible. When he first meets Fiore Darien is still in the hospital from his head injury after the car crash. And when Fiore leaves he leaves from the Hospital because Serena is there because her mom is having a baby, she would not be in an orphange to have a baby. So if you pay close attention you find out that the writters screwed up. Fiore thretens earth with his meatorite that is in space heading towards earth. He tries to destroy the Sailor Scouts but Darien takes another death blow for Serena, and then Fiore takes Darien to his meoterorite to heal him. The Scouts head into space to save "tuxedo" which for some reason is how they refer to him in this movie. Fiore traps the everyone but Sailor Moon and she is forced to give up or he will kill them. He then drains her of almost all of her energy and then goes to kill her, but Darien saves her with one of his roses. Then it looks like Fiore dies, but in a few minutes he appears again, with no explanation. Serena goes to transform into the Princess but Fiore graps the crystal, and Serena's breast while he's at it. After about a year of them talking, Serena tells Fiore that her and Darien meet when they were kids (this also makes no sense) and she gave Darien the rose that Darien had given Fiore which Fiore had made such a big deal out of. So then the crystal changes into a flower and Fiore dies (again) Then Serena has to do something because the meterorite they are on is heading for earth, so she decides that she is going to blow it up, while they are standing on it. She changes into Princess Serena, and the scouts and Dairen lend their power to her so she can save the earth. But because they give so much power the crystal breaks and Serena dies. (in the show they don't explain how the crystal is connected to Serena, her heart and her emotions) But she did manage to divert the meterorite. Then in some wiered way Fiore gives Darien his life flower and Darien kisses Serena and she is alive again ,and the crystal is restored. THE END
OUR COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE MOVIE
Although the summery on the back of the box does describe the basic plot it was extreamly cornyfied for younger people. I mean since when has Darien and Sereana's realtionship been described as best friends? I'd call it a little more then that, and in the movie Fiore relises it's more then that too. The guy grabs her twice! I think he knows what Darien does with her. Also on the back the movie is recommended for ages three and up. No way, there are so many scenes which are not appropriate for ten year olds to see! They did edit out alot of the major viloence. Which I must add they did very badly, it was quite obviouse where they had cut something out and half of the scenes didn't make sense with the other ones cut out. Like when Darien takes Fiore's death blow for Serena, you could tell exactly where the scene of him being hurt was sappose to be but instead it goes to a scene of Serena gasping. We don't understand why they took out all of that violence but left in the nudity. When the scouts do any sort of twirly, flying, jumping, standing, sitting, anything, you almost always get a shot of their butts. At the begining of the seriese they use to have gymnastic like things under their skirts, what did they just disappear? Also I'm sure anyone who seen the movie thinks that there is something wrong with the hour long scene of Fiore grabbing Serena's breast, she's half naked, or no she is more along the lines of three quarters naked, and you can see his fingers pressed into her. And then Darien just sits back and watches! That guy does alot of that in this movie! Like when they first meet Fiore, he relises that he is going to push Serena but doesn't do anything, isn't he the best at protecting her?.We do not like the way Darien look as if the only time he was interested in Serena was if she was Sailor Moon or Princess Serena. He really didn't seem to care to much about just plain ordanary everyday Serena. He wouldn't even kiss her! They are dating and he wouldn't even kiss her! Maybe that is why all those guys are attracted to him...... hmmm.......... And one thing that I Sailor Venus would like to complain about is how they just let Rini fall on the street and run off with out her. That is a sin. Although I really really dislike Rini, even I have to admitt that that was just plain mean.
