Serena was born Princess Serena, princess of the moon, daoughter of Queen Serenity and King Kronos. Queen Serenity raised Princess Serena to follow in her footsteps and take over her rule of the moon. King Kronos died, when is unknown. Princess Serena becomes destracted and is constantly starring at the Earth for she had fallen in love with a prince from there named Prince Darien. An evil force enters the universe and kills both Darien and Serena as Darien's attempts to protect her failed.
Queen Serenity uses her powers to allow Serena, Darien and her royal court to be reborn upon earth with no memories of their past lives. Serena encounters a talking cat named Luna who was searching for the moon princess and says that Serena is the sailor scout of the moon, Sailor Moon. her mission is to find the princess (actually she's searching for herself) Serena meets Darien and the two have a confusing relationship full of arguments and ....... They eventually get their memories back and fall in love all over again. They overcome many obsticles to be together. They get married, become rulers of Crystal Tokyo, and have a child, Rini.
