SAILOR MOON S
THE MOVIE:
HEARTS IN ICE

On the Back of the Case:

SAILOR MOON VS. SNOW QUEEN! THE LEGENDARY SAILOR SCOUTS' POWER APPEARS!

As Serena and her friends enjoy Christmas vacation, an unusual snow storm hits the town. When the Sailor Scouts search for the source, they discover the evil Snow Queen, Kaguya and her Snow Dancers have returned.

Long ago, Snow Queen Kaguya tried to invade Earth, but a great light forced her back. Ever since then she has been stuck on a long journey through space where all she did was think about how when she would return to claim Earth as her own. but crucial to the plan is the crystal she sent disguised as a comet to Earth. Once Queen Kaguya finds the crystal she will be able to fulfill her plan to cover the Earth in ice, sucking away all life energy and instill permanent winter!

Will Sailor Moon find the crystal before Queen Kaguya? Will Sailor Moon's poweres be enough to defeat Snow Queen Kaguya and her ice maiden minions to save Earth? All hope lies with the Legendary Ultimate Scouts' Power!

Our Opinion:

The back of the case is very missleading, we assumed that we would be meeting the outer Scouts. They are in the movie, but all they do is attack a few times. We never even learn their names! The whole movie is based on how Luna fell in love with a guy. It actually has little to do with the Sailor Scouts. While watching the movie we felt as if we had come in in the middle of a story. And the ending is weired. Luna is toltally in love with this guy one minute and in the next she is back in love with Artemis. We didn't like this movie half as much as we did the SMR movie, but we do get to see Luna as a human. That's really
cool. And she is soooo cute with that little yellow ribbon on!!!!!

On further investigation we discovered that the Japanese version made way more since. The way Luna fell in love with the guy was more subtle, and in the end Artemis did not all of a sudden say that they were soul mates,  he said that he had always been on her side.
