An Angel's Nightly Watch


Two hazel orbs staring back at you;

A simple greeting, bringing joy to your heart;

Ruffled brown hair, nestled against your neck;

The simple feeling gives you the chills;

The sweet dreamer, curled up against you;

You feel complete, and finally whole;

Soft warmth, smooth silk;

This dream, can it be real?

Joined hand in hand;

Sleeping sweetly away;

This beauty before you, This sleeping dreamer;

Gives you strength you've never felt before;

Even as you sleep;

Always hold your dreamer close;

For the fear that you'll lose him;

Is unbearable;

But no need to worry;

For this dreamer's going to stay;

By your side forever;

For you are the Angel, watching over him as he sleeps;

Wrap your arms around him;

And join him in his peaceful, nameless dream.
