1. The Chief / Chieftess has final say in all decisions relating to the Holt. The Holtmistress has final say in all decisions relating to the Silver Meadows Holt RPG. There will be no arguments or fighting tolerated Out Of Character. Either keep it private or bring it to a moderator for resolution.
2. Good grammar and spelling are expected. Spellcheckers exist for a reason, utilize them as needed. If a player corrects your spelling or use of a certain word, please make a note of it. Consistant laziness in your approach to writing will not be overlooked.
3. All decisions by the Holtmistress or her Moderators will be considered final. End of discussion.
4. Flaming will be considered an automatic dismissal for the offending player.
5. Characters must be original creations or adoptions from our available list. If you are playing an original character in some other holt or RPG, they are not eligible for play in Silver Meadows.
6. All CIS submissions must be approved before you can join the RPG. The Holtmistress has final say on all aspects of a CIS including magic and tribe positions.
7. The only elves that are appropriate for Silver Meadows are wolfbloods or pureblooded elves. No cat-elves, or any other crossbreed, will be considered.
8. Every player starts with one character. If you are an active enough player you may submit a secondary CIS for approval. If the Holtmistress does not think you are active enough, you may get approval for the CIS but not be allowed to play that character until your status improves. Likewise, if you have more than one character and the Holtmistress does not feel that you are active enough, your characters will be trimmed back.
9. Adopted characters must have a new CIS submitted for them before they can be used in play. Much of the personal information for these elves can be altered within reason, but all CIS submissions must be cleared by the Holtmistress, regardless of past playing history.
10. Refugees from other Holts will be accepted if the source Holt is closing down and you are looking for a new place to move your characters to. Be aware that changes may be required to help your elf work in this particular RPG.
11. Sex and violence should be kept to a minimum when possible. Intimate moments need to be kept behind closed doors. This Holt is not an excuse for cybersex.
12. All Recognitions will be decided by the Holtmistress using an arbitrary number generator. Subsequent results of Recognition will also be at the Holtmistress's discretion.
13. You must post at least once every other day, and no post should be shorter than 5 sentences.
14. Consistent rule breaking will result in expulsion.
I follow the "3 strikes...You're Out" policy. If the rules are not followed then you will be given two more chances, and after that if you break a rule again, you will be immediately removed from the group. I can change or add rules at any time.
