Behavior: Very much the elder, Shortthorn is often silent and watchful. After his lifemate, Snowthorn, was killed in a battle with a kinkiller, he lost touch with himself, feeling as if he had died that day on the grasslands. He was without his beloved she-wolf, soul crippled without her, short his precious 'Thorn. After losing her, the old elf (then Shortworded) felt a name change was in order to commemorate his loss. He still has a great sense of humor, but his teasing and occasional playfulness have become less and less, since Snowthorn is now gone. Hard to tease his "she-wolf" lifemate beyond death. He supports Wolfgrin as the new Chief and believes the youngster to be the best choice for the lock. Acting as an advisor, though he is of a quiet nature, he will speak his mind if his opinion is called for or if he feels he must. He is, in short, a respected and likeable elf.

Appearance: Reverse from most black and silver wolves. Her markings are a black coat with a silver streak down her back and a silver face, flecked in black.
Personality: Chugwater is the former Alpha female, who, luckily for her and Shortthorn, was able to step down gracefully from the position. She is a noble, old wolf who also has a great sense of humor, but with her business first, play later. She loves to play with Shortthorn, and when these two are at leisure, they almost resemble a pair of cubs.
