Build: Muscular, lean, and a bit lanky. He has broad shoulders and is fairly tall.
Hair: Black hair down to mid-back, when hunting or working he ties it back, and when untied it tends to fall into his eyes, mouth, etc.
Eyes: Amber with green flecks. Slanted and very wolflike. Has thick, long black lashes that offset the severity of his inky black eyebrows.
Skin color: Buttery tan, where showing, from exposure to the sun. A fair amount of very thick, jet black hair/fur appears along the forearms, chest, back, and the legs, mostly from the knees to the ankles where it is beginning to get long and a bit shaggy. He trims it on occasion to keep it from becoming to cumbersome.
Facial features: Long, thin oval face and high cheek bones. Very pronounced canine teeth, that tend to show when speaking. His upper left canine is chipped and a little gray in hue where he damaged it in a fall when he was a stripling youth.

Scars, birthmarks, etc: Flintfang has a scar across and underneath the left side of his lower lip where his canine tooth got pushed through the flesh in a fall (when his tooth got chipped)He has another scar running from the inside of his left eye, across the bridge of his nose, across his right eyelid, and ending at the outer edge of his brow bone. He also has a scar on the inside of his left arm where he carved a likeness of Deepcove's dead son Stepper's birthmark upon making a vow that he would never forget the cub.
