Chad first appears in the episode where Zoisite tries to turn Rei's grandpa into a shadow warrior ( I think of all the shadow warriors he was the ugliest. Maybe cuz he's so perverted). Chad turns up one night on the temple steps, asking to become an apprentice (I bet this is the only instance in the history of the world where an ex-rock star trains in a temple). As soon as he sees Rei he falls in love with her.
For a long time he worships her every way he knows, but she doesn't really seem to like him. Then, in S Series he thinks she really doesn't care about him at all, so he decides to leave the temple. When Rei sees him go she looks sad and misty-eyed, and she says, "I always knew you'd leave."
Serena, and the others know she really cares about Chad, and tell her to run after him. She does, and after saving him from the heart snatchers it looks like they may be falling in love after all (*sigh...*) |
