How I got into the Goo Goo Dolls: I heard "Ain't That Unusual" on the "Angus" movie soundtrack in 1995 and figured out who the band was.
How I got into silverchair: My friend was pretty insistent that I listen to her Freak Show tape, so I gave it a try. At first, I loved Cemetery but thought the rest of the album was kind of harsh. I warmed up to it pretty quickly, though!
