Elements

There are five elements, Air, Water, Earth, Fire and Spirit.
The fifth element, Spirit, is said to represent the particular deities in our lives, i.e. the Goddesses and Gods.
Each element has a particular symbol and color. The pentagram above shows this relationship.
White = Spirit
Yellow = Air
Green = Earth
Red = Fire
Blue = Water
Many people feel attracted to a particular element, which can often be determined astrologically, but you are not just made up of that one element. Life is a balance of all the elements, but you cannot have a complete balance as that would be like 'being perfect' and of course nobody's perfect! However, we do strive to have a complete balance of the elements being one part of our goal to perfect our souls.
Many people feel attracted to the element which corresponds to their zodiac sign.
Earth
Matter, stability, foundation, manifestation, money, incorporating, employment, touch, empathy, understanding, fertility, prosperity and, business.
Air
Thought, knowledge, mental activity, study, speech, intellect, ideas, communication, hearing, travel, messages, eloquence, freedom, discovery, revealing hidden things & secrets.
Fire
Energy, light, vitality, health, passion, destination, purification and, sight.
Water
Emotions, feelings, happiness, pleasure, love, children, friendship, marriage, home, taste, dreams, sleep, healing, the physic and, the sub-conscious.
EARTH: (lower left hand corner) represents stability and physical endurance.
FIRE: (lower right hand corner) represents courage and daring.
WATER: (upper right hand corner) represents emotions and intuition.
AIR: (upper left hand corner) represents intelligence and the arts.
SPIRIT: (at the topmost point) represents the All and the Divine.
Most people have one main element, for example, mine is fire, but I also enjoy water, earth, and air. Everyone has a little of each element in them, but no one is made up evenly of the elements. That would mean you are perfect, and nobody's perfect, therefore, you probably have an attraction to a particular element. Some people will automatically know their element, but other times, a person will have to carefully think about it.
How can you find your element? Usually, your zodiac symbol and element will match, but in my case it doesn't. If you think yours is different, simply ask yourself which you like best. If that doesn't help, think of four things you enjoy doing and see how they relate to the elements. And, finally, if that doesn't work, think of four things, one pertaining to each element. Perhaps, swimming, for water, or building and watching a campfire, for fire. Then ask yourself, which do you most enjoy?

Fire.....Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius
Earth.....Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Air.....Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Water....Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
