2005 Updates
~Update December 26th 2005~

I'm leaving for Army basic training soon and won't be updating the site for a couple months at least. Don't expect much changes throughout 2006, but there may be some small things here and there in the later half of the year. Blessings.

~Update December 4th 2005~

Never mind, BV Designs stinks. Apparently the person who made has no more time and interest in running it so all the bugs from the new version will never be fixed. So now you'll find the topsite list at Moonlight Messages Top 100. If this one doesn't work, I'll give up again... For now anyway.

~Update December 2nd 2005~

I'm trying to do a Top Site list again. The ones I've done in the past usually didn't work out so well. Reason being crappy hosts, really. This time I'm trying BV Designs Topsites. I haven't seen any issues coming from this host based on Topsites lists that I'm on. So, if you have your own Pagan site and wish to add it to the list, be sure to stop by Moonlight Messages Top 100 and join!

~Update November 29th 2005~

I finally got around to updating the Book Reviews page since finishing The Spiral Dance.  Seeing as I've run out of books I haven't read until I can buy or otherwise come in contact with more, I'll probably just start going back and rereading the others again. So be sure to check the page from time to time incase I've updated my review on a book or two.

Also, and on a more important note I think, I added a new link to the Pagan Links page. I remember hearing something about the Darla Wynne case a couple years ago. Back then, we weren't hearing anything about the many wrongs the town has done to this woman. All the story was then was that she was having issues with drug dealers and she had to attend town council meetings to deal with it. There, they made an issue with her faith every single meeting rather then letting her get to her whole purpose of being there. From there it had sparked into much more. That's all there was when I lost track of the story. It's like there just stopped being so much publicity about it by the time things got really serious. Not enough media attention or a cover up? I don't really know. The point is, we know the story now. We need to bring it to public attention and let people know just what kinds of injustices are being faced right now. Darla is a brave woman. My thanks and prayers are going out to her for what she is doing, not just for herself, not just for our community, but for anybody who may be different from the "norm" in a particular area. That she has felt alone through all of this is horrible. We all should be there for her, letting her know we care and are willing to stand beside her. Please take the time to look into the case of Darla Wynne and pitch in whatever you can, whether it be donations or simply emotional support. More information can be found at Exploring the Cauldron.

~Update September 22nd 2005~

I added in a page discussing the actual history of Wicca, as I said I would. The Real History of Wicca explains what we know and presents some of the modern arguments over the details. Of course, I encourage everyone to do their own research to learn more (as I only briefly touch on the details) and grasp a better understanding of each argument I presented as well as come across any I've missed. Enjoy!

~Update September 15th 2005~

I fixed a couple terms on the Terms & Definitions page. I also added a rant I wrote a little while back to the Random Ramblings page.

~Update September 14th 2005~

Having a new perspective on the false history of Wicca, I've decided to add the page The History of Wicca: A Mythological Understanding to the site. It basically explains that while it has been disproven decades ago, it still has a place in Wicca (albeit a small one) as a mythological story and then tells one version of it. Eventually I'll add a page for the actual history of Wicca to go along with it. Also, I've gone ahead and updated the Books page, adding in my current thoughts of The Spiral Dance by Starhawk as I begin reading it (which happened to be what gave me the new perspective on the mythological history of Wicca). Also, I've slightly updated the Tools page adding in Clothing and Jewelry and modifying the opening paragraph.

~Update August 25th 2005~

I opened a Cafepress store. It's not really meant to be affiliated with this site, but I did list it on the Other Links page.  Evy's Corner isn't anything big or special. It's really me just playing around with images I've made and a couple photographs I've taken. So far, I'm not sure how the photos will actually look on the finished product, but the purple pentacles should look fine, though rather plain on some items. There will be more when I stop being lazy and learn to do more things with PSP. I keep the prices pretty close to the base price. For some things I think Cafepress makes the base price a bit, well, pricey, but there's not much I can do about that. Take a look if you're interested, but I can't promise much.

~Update July 12th 2005~

Got bored and made a Toolbar on impulse. Download it here if you're interested (contact me if you have any questions).

~Update July 9th 2005~

I finally got around to adding copyright notices and a page with information on using material from this site. If you're interested in using any information from this site, please see Copyright Information. You'd think I would have done this forever ago. Oh well, at least it's done now.

~Update July 7th 2005~

A random thought occured to me that even though I change my pages as often as I remember to, I don't announce it on the site itself. A post at the boards about a new page really doesn't make much of a difference to anyone who doesn't go there. This is a good time to explain that I don't just add new pages to this site. In fact, I rarely do unless I randomly think to (like with this page here). Usually I go through the pages written by myself and alter them to reflect any new realizations I've come to. The page that has gone through the most changes since the beginning of this site is the Basics of Wicca page. For anyone who saw it way back when, you'll recall the uber fluffiness of it (mostly the wording did it, I think). If you're interested, you can find the original page at Myths and Reality  (note the typoes for some extra laughs). I'll only add an update announcement when there's been a new page added, a page updated or changed, or some sort of reorganization that's important to note.
