DragonBall AF Episode 4: Let the fight begin- Cursed Memories “ I’m hungry!” Asuku complained as she leaned over the side of where the contestants were watching the fight. “ Here I have five senzu beans take one.” Vegeta offered. Asuku’s face scrunched up and slowly took it. “ I hate these things but I’m starved.” She plugged her nose and chewed it. Once she swallowed it she spit her tongue out to show that she hated it. “ The fight’s starting, Asuku!” Vegeta turned her head to the fight. “ Too simple.” Son-Briefs laughed. She gathered a small blast of energy and blasted it at Umikto. She quickly was thrown out of the ring and Son-Briefs smiled and looked back at Asuku. “ She scares me.” Asuku whispered to her brother. The crowd started cheering. “ Next fight!” The announcer called out. “ I can’t believe we got messed up and had to pick again.” Misako said to Asuku. “ Yeah I don’t want to fight you.” Asuku said as they got in the ring. “ Oh well can’t fight fate.” Misako said as she ran towards Asuku. Asuku flew up and used her physic abilities to throw Misako out of the ring. “ Sorry.” Asuku said as she floated down. “ But I hate to win no matter what fate decides.” She brushed her hair of her shoulder and smiled. The crowd went wild and Vegeta started to wonder his sister’s power. The mysterious ‘Gakuha’ stood beside Vegeta and he didn’t know Vegeta heard him when he whispered. “ She’s gotten even stronger.” “ How do you know my sister?” Vegeta asked but he didn’t reply. Vegeta won his fight against Wai Toi. But for the first time in history Mankato and Gakuha tied no matter what they did. No one could win. So they arranged it, whoever won their matches got battle against Asuku. “ So I get to fight Mankato.” Vegeta chuckled. “ Why do I have to fight however wins?” Asuku complained. “What if they’re stronger then me?” “ That’s the whole point.” Son-Briefs sighed. Asuku stuck her tongue out at her. “ Everyone reminds me of someone I used to know…strange.” She backed up and bumped into Gakuha. A small bag fell out of his hand. “ Huh?” He asked as Asuku tried to look at his face. A hood covered his face and as Asuku picked up the bag a small ball fell out. “ A DragonBall?” She questioned. She was about to give it back but when she turned to give it to him he was gone. “ Asuku come on!” Vegeta grabbed her hand and she sat on the ledge by Shino. “ Where’s Gokuu?” She asked questionably. “ I think he went to get something to eat.” Shino answered as Gakuha and Son-Briefs entered the ring. “ Who do you thinks going to win?” Shino asked her. “ Huh?” Asuku looked back at her. “ I don’t know they’re both very strong. But he seems stronger.” The fight began and just as Asuku had predicted the girl after half an hour was knocked out. ‘ It’s kinda no fair since your physic and all.” Shino giggled. “ Hey guys.” Goku waved to them as he sat down with a pile of food. “ Wow food! Can I have some?” She questioned. He nodded, while blushing. Shino giggled. “ That Gakuha guy cute?” Shino asked. “ Don’t know. I’ve never seen his face.” Asuku shrugged and watched her brother fight. Her eyes widened after the Mankato appeared behind Vegeta and knocked him out. “ Your still weak Vegeta.” “ Vegeta!” Asuku jumped up and ran into the ring. She fed him a senzu bean, but he was already the loser. “ Asuku?” He asked questionably. “ Your okay!” She laughed and hugged him. The crowd started clapping and awing. Asuku giggled while Vegeta tried to pry her off. “ Come on fight already!” Asuku called out to Gakuha and Mankato. Vegeta had been brought to the audience seats and was seated behind Asuku’s ledge. “ That was a great fight Vegeta.” Shino tried to cheer Vegeta up. But another strange thing happened, Gakuha gave up. “ Where’s Goku?” Vegeta asked looking around. “ I think he went to the bathroom.” Asuku giggled. “ Well I’m up!” She said as she jumped down form the ledge. “ Asuku…” Vegeta started. “ Yeah?” “ Be careful.” He quietly whispered into her ear. She entered the ring and the two began to fight. “ Asuku stop play with him!” Vegeta called out; knowing his sister could do better. “ You’re just playing around?” Mankato asked her hoping for it not to be true. “ Aw Vegeta you ruined all my fun.” She smiled and turned super saiyan. Mankato couldn’t even touch her! “ This isn’t going as well as I thought.” He mumbled. “ You’re so weak.” Asuku laughed, throwing him up and flying after him. She threw punch after punch without getting tired. “ You forced me too…” He whispered as he punched Asuku in the face. “ What do you mean?” She asked. “ Galic gun!” Her eyes opened wide and she nearly didn’t dodge it. “ That’s grandpa’s attack…” She whispered as he powered up. He grew in size, speed and power and punch Asuku to a pulp. “ Asuku get up!” Son-Briefs called out. “ You have to win Asuku!” Shino called out. “ Time to die…” Mankato laughed. “ Just like your grandfather did.” The words hit her like bricks. He killed him. He had destroyed everything she cared about. Tears fell from her eyes. “ Asuku!” Vegeta charged towards Mankato. Mankato didn’t even look at him and threw him away. Vegeta was knocked unconscious. Gakuha ran towards Mankato and punched him in the stomach. He picked up Asuku and flew up. With Asuku on his back he started to do the KAMEHAMEHA. Mankato was easily killed but Asuku started to slip off Gakuha’s back. “ Oh no.” He gulped as she plummeted towards the ground. “ Asuku!” Shino called out. She jumped out to catch her but someone else had already. “ Huh?” She opened her eyes slowly. “ What happened?” She asked as he put her down. She looked back remembering. “ Ah.” He screamed and blushed madly as Asuku threw her arms around him and laughed. “ Thanks Gokuu!” Goku Jr. had caught her just in time. Shino, Vegeta and Son-Briefs ran up to Asuku. “Asuku are you alright?” Son-Briefs asked, quite worried. “ How do you now me?” She asked releasing herself form Goku’s neck. Shino was behind Goku and caught him after he fainted. “ I’m surprised you didn’t figure it out already.” She smiled. “ I am Son Aseriana. From the past timeline. Trunks said there would be trouble for you here and so I’m here to help you.” Asuku smiled happily. “ Well you won.” The announcer said. “ All of you I guess but since it was Asuku’s turn she wins.” “ I can’t believe you guys allow dying now.” Gakuha said removing his hood. “ G…Go…Gokuu?” Asuku inquired. “Yeah. I was sent here to help you beat him and so I did…does anyone have any food?” “ Aren’t you dead?” Goku Jr. asked. “ Yeah.” He pointed to his halo. “ Like I said I came back to help Asuku today.” He began to disappear. “ What’s happening?” Vegeta asked. “ Got to go but don’t relax there is a great danger coming.” He said before he disappeared. “ This has to be the weirdest day of my life.” Asuku sighed and walked off. “ Where are you going?” Aseriana asked. “ Home. I need to relax.” She sighed. “ Wait for me.” Vegeta said running after her. “ We better get going too.” Shino said as each of them flew off in their own direction. ------------------------------------------- “ Are you made you didn’t win?” Asuku asked Vegeta later that night. The rain fell softly outside the window. He stood alone in the dim hall. Asuku was dressed in her blue pajamas and smiled. Her long black hair was tied into a ponytail that stretched across her back. “ Yeah. But it’s not it.” He replied. He was still dressed in his training uniform, because he had been training all night. “ He said a greater danger is coming.” “ Yeah…and?” Asuku asked, not understanding him. “ He might try to hurt you and I can’t do anything because I weak.” Vegeta yelled. Asuku’s eyes widened. “ Vegeta…” She whispered. “ I couldn’t even protect you today.” He hung his head and passed her. “ Vegeta…you did.” She whispered looking at the rain in the empty hall. “ It’s so empty.” She replied not able to see either of the doors to get out of the hall because it was so long. “ Just like our hearts.” She whispered sadly.
