DragonBall AF Episode 23: The sun and the moon- no more differences " I hate thunder!" Asuku screamed as she sat up in her attic and plugged her ears. Luckily for her it didn't echo as much in the attic as the rest of the house. It hit once more with great noise. She screamed out again and threw her hands backwards. She hit a box and as her back hit the wooden floor it fell on her head. " Ouch." She moaned and rubbed her head. She threw the box off and a small blue locket box fell out by her feet. " What's this?" Her hand reached for it and as she touched it the lock undid and inside gleaming in the light of the storm was a pendent. " The moon..." Her hand went over the gold bump. Her hand moved down and there was another bump but only 1/4 of a circle. " The earth..." She whispered and placed it around her neck. " Asuku-Chan!" " Coming!" She called out and kicked the box the pendent was in out of her way. A small sheet of paper fell out. " Beware of power you can't control. When the demon king receives the power of light and darkness the earth shall become no more..." The rest was torn off. She picked up the sheet and shoved it in her pocket. " Hurry up we said we'd meet everyone at Misako's mansion." Vegeta called from the car. " Yeah, yeah I'm coming!" Asuku said grabbing her umbrella and making a dash for it. " What's that?" Vegeta pointed to the small pendent on Asuku's neck. " Um it's a pendent I found in the attic." She fiddled with it until they got to Misako's. " Suku-Chany!" She cried out. " Vegeta-Kun!" Misako took Asuku's hand and took her through the door. " I swear she gets wackier every day..." Vegeta sighed and followed them. " Asuku!" They heard voices behind them. Misako huffed as Shino dragged her away with Kazu, Takato and Goku. Aseriana sat on her couch still thinking of the day before. " Something wrong?" Asuku asked and placed her hands on her knees. Aseriana looked up and smiled at her. " No I'm okay." She giggled then her eyes opened in shock when she saw the pendent. " I saw that somewhere..." She whispered. Asuku looked at her strangely again then turned when Aseriana stood up. " Okay then." Asuku said happily and looked for Misako. " Misako-Chan?" " Yes Suku-Chany?" Misako asked happily. " When do we eat?" She and Goku asked in unison. " I'll go get something now." Misako frowned at Goku then smiled again. " Maybe you were on to something Vegeta..." Goku scratched his head. " Onto what Gokuu-San?" Asuku asked feeling a bit left out. " Nothing! Nothing!" Goku and Vegeta waved their arms and tried to act casual. " I'm beginning to dislike this word..." She said smiling and turning away from them. " Ruki has Takato. Umi has Yatazaki. Kazu has...uh himself and in his mind Asuku, and Asuku has Goku, though she doesn't know it." Misako angrily stated as she stirred the cake batter and broke the spoon. " What does she need me for?" She asked in a sigh and placed the cake in the oven. " We want food!" She heard Goku and Asuku chanted playfully. " If he ever hurts her..." She held the rest of the spoon in her hand. It fell to pieces and she yelled back . " I'm coming!" She took the cake she had baked early out and carried it in. " That looks great Misako." Vegeta complimented. She sat down and cut everyone a slice. " This is great Misako-Chan!" Asuku said looking up from her food for a second. " Thank-you." She blushed and continued eating slowly. " It's coming." Aseriana saw her hand shaking. Her eyes opened wide and her face became pale. She dropped her fork on her plate and stood up in a rush. " What's coming?" Goku managed to say within a mouth full of food. Aseriana didn't wait to answer and looked at the window and into Misako's open yard. She ran over to window and opened it and jumped out. Vegeta, Shino and Goku closely followed. " What is she doing?" Asuku asked and ran out after her. " Suku-Chany!" Misako cried out as she left the window. Misako and the others entered the balcony. " What's going on?" Umi asked with fear. " Hey!" Asuku angrily called out as she caught up with Goku and Vegeta who were still in the air. Aseriana and Shino were on the land. " Just like my dream." Aseriana whispered. They saw the sun to the right of her and the moon to the left of her. They rose with great speed and were about to hit. They closed together as one and the earth was filled with total darkness. Asuku started yelling at Goku and Vegeta. " What do we do now?" She whined. As the darkness flooded the skies and waters a strange light was being emitted from somewhere...from someone. " If I could only remember..." Aseriana thought hard trying to remember what happened next. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw two hands extend from where the two sources of light clashed. They were stretching out and no one was noticing until they grabbed Asuku. Then something happened she began glowing and the pendent rose up onto of her neck. " The power!" It laughed and began to pull Asuku in. " No wait!" Vegeta and Goku lunged at the arms and tried for it to let Asuku go. " Oh no Suku-Chany!" Misako cried out in tears, afraid of losing her friend again. " Asuku!" Summer said in shock. They were too afraid to talk or even move. " I won't let you take her!" Goku struggled as he pulled at the arm. The power was rising inside Asuku and her anger was boiling. She broke free from the prison of the arms and faced Goku and Vegeta once more before she turned to fly into the black sphere. " Don't worry. Everything will be okay." She smiled and flew towards it. " No Asuku-Chan!" Aseriana and Shino cried out from the ground below. " Everything will be okay." She said once more and came within inches away from it. " We have to trust her." Goku said smiling. " Cause she can do it with our powers too." " Yeah." Vegeta nodded. She called upon the powers of the pendent and chanted something she didn't even know. " Powers of the moon!" A beam from the left shot into the pendent. " Powers of the Sun!" Once more a beam from the right appeared. " Powers of the earth!" A beam shot from the ground and she desperately tried to contain the power. Vegeta and Goku flew towards her. " Don't worry we're right here." The both put a hand on her shoulders. " And we're right behind them!" Shino said and she and Aseriana flew behind them to give Asuku their power. The darkness started fading and once it did the pendent broke and Asuku lost sense of life. " Asuku get up!" Shino said crying. " You said everything would be okay!" Goku said on the verge of tears. " Asuku." Vegeta smiled as energy flowed from the earth, sun and moon. She opened her eyes and smiled. " Next time...believe that when I say everything will be okay that it will!" She laughed.
