DragonBall AF Episode 17: It's getting tuff- are you going to stay by my side...forever? " Are you sure you're okay?" Ruki asked. They had just finished their Christmas dinner. " Yes already!" Vegeta said and slammed his fists on the table. Shino and Aseriana laughed. Asuku smiled up at him but felt her attention turning back to the unknowing Goku. " Asuku?" " Hmm?" She turned back to her other friends. " Yes?" " I said do you want to open presents now?" Shino asked. " Yes of course." Asuku said sweetly and stood up. All of them rushed off towards the living room and only Aseriana and Vegeta remained in the dining room. " You're very protective of her." Aseriana said. " Why is that?" " She's my sister." Vegeta grumbled. " I have to." " I don't believe a word of that." Aseriana snapped back. " She isn't even your kin by blood and you...none of us know that much about her!" " I...I..." Vegeta stuttered. " Tell me now! Why doesn't she remember anything from her childhood here and when she was sent here as a baby. Stop lying and tell me. What happened and when?" " It happened when she was four..." Vegeta sighed. " Back then I had a friend. I can't remember his name and I don't want to. He had green eyes and blond hair was I suppose liked Asuku. We were both five and I had no idea where he came from. Back then I wasn't so protective of her." " What happened that made you?" Aseriana asked. " I'm getting to that." Vegeta said, annoyed. " One day he said he wanted to open gates to other dimension and take on a stronger form. He just needed the right 'battery'. He could harness a person's inner power and use it as energy. He used a device that would measure a person's energy. For three weeks he tried with no luck. His power was only a human's and he said mine was to low. But then Asuku...Asuku returned from vacation with my grandmother. Her power blew the device to millions of pieces. I guess Asuku agreed to it because she thought friends helped out each other..." " Go on..." Aseriana urged. " Well he began to drain her life energy without knowing it. She ended up in the hospital. Only then did I see that she was dying. But I couldn't make him stop no matter what I did. When he got the gate open my rage took over and I pushed him into it. He disappeared and I never saw him again. One of the nurses ran out of Asuku's room yelling for the doctor and it crossed my mind that she need the energy that my friend had used. But as I ran into the room and saw she was alive I was over joy-ed. But she didn't remember me...grandma...or even her self. She felt so distant as we tried to help her. And she wasn't recovering very well. She would have heart problems and that's when she began to get closer to use. We used all the life energy we could to help her without killing ourselves. As she began to recover with the energy she began to be able to remember thing but not before he did it to her." " Oh I see now." Aseriana said sadly. " He did that to her. I was afraid that see might leave me forever so I would never let her near guys because I didn't want any of them to take advantage of her. She had a chance to start over her life without sadness and corruption. So anyway that's why." He said and walked towards the living room. Aseriana stood still. " So that's why you don't like Goku..." She said, thinking she finally understood him. " No." His answered shocked her. " I'm afraid he's going to take away something very precious to me..." Vegeta said and left a stunned Aseriana alone. " Hey you're here!" Asuku said happily as the two of the came into the room. " We haven't started yet so grab whatever one is yours and we'll get started." " Okay." Aseriana smiled and picked up a few with her name on it. " Asuku leave the ones from the staff, grandma and me until tomorrow morning." Vegeta murmured to Asuku. " Yeah. And leave ours too." Shino and Aseriana interrupted. " Huh?" Asuku looked around. " Where's Gokuu?" Shino and Aseriana began to look for him but they couldn't find him in the room. " So that's why...why he won't let me get close to her..." Goku said sadly. He stood in the dinning room, where he had hid while Vegeta and Aseriana had been talking. His hands were trembling as he held onto a gift. The tag flashed out of the darkness and revealed Asuku's name. " Gokuu?" He heard Asuku's voice calling him. " Are you lost?" " How could he get lost?" Vegeta said curiously at his sister. The two of them entered the dinning room and Goku moved back behind the door on the other side. " I don't know I'm not a guy!" She laughed and the two of them left. Goku ran out and ran into the living room without anyone seeing him. He placed his gift under the tree where no one could see it. " Gokuu!" He heard Asuku enter. She smiled and ran over to him, with Vegeta close behind. " Where were you monkey-boy?" Vegeta asked coldly. " Uh...uh...hey have you guys started opening gifts yet?" He said dodging the question. Asuku grabbed his arm. He blushed and she pulled him towards the tree. " No not yet! Come on I'll help you find your gifts!" She laughed. " Asuku wait up!" Vegeta said running after her. " Master Takatsu has failed." A large figure said. Its body was purple and had long flowing blond hair. " Naturally...he was weak." Another one hissed. The once in the center growled. " Quiet!" He roared. His eyes were fixated on Asuku and Vegeta. " Their power is strong than ever...Dasikoro I need you to lure them here." " Yes Master." It replied and disappeared. " Asuku!" Shino cried out as a beast appeared from behind her friend. " Huh?" Asuku whapped around to see a large horse type beast in front of her. " Asuku get out of the way!" Vegeta stepped out in front of her. " Get ready to fight..." Aseriana started. " I don't wish to fight...not yet. The master wants to see you." It used its powers to teleport Asuku, Vegeta, Goku, Aseriana and Shino to the Tadyn's empire. " Is this it?" Asuku asked as they landed. It nodded and placed its hand up to the wall. A shock of lighting came down and stuck him. The floor begun to shake and it threw everyone down. " Everyone okay?" Shino asked, the ground was still shaking violently. The Tadyn disappeared and a voice came into the room. " So you are here...good the game begins. My revenge on you will be complete." It paused. " It's begun Vegeta..." Vegeta looked up in horror as he heard Asuku scream out. Asuku had been thrown back pretty far and was now in the arms of a snake creature. She was fading and it looked like her every was disappearing with every second. " No..." Vegeta said in sadness. " I'll just borrow her...you don't mind Vegeta do you?" The voice said sarcastically. Asuku's body floated up again and disappeared. " Asuku-Chan..." Goku whispered. " Doctor...she's fading!" The nurse exclaimed. Vegeta looked on horrified. " What are you doing to her?" He cried out at the blond haired boy. " I'm just borrowing her...you don't mind Vegeta do you?"
