Episode 12: A test of friendship - Celebrate the festival!
	" Its today!" Asuku cheered. 
	" Go away it's seven in the morning!" Vegeta growled. " And we don't even have to go to school today!" He shoved his pillow at her head. 
	" Mistress Asuku phone call." Their butler entered the room. 
	" K," She ran out of the room and into hers. " Hello?"
	" Hiya Asuku!" Shino's cheery voice blabbed into the phone. " Do you want to go over the music once more before the festival?" Shino asked curiously. 
	" Yeah sure met me in my music room in an hour." She answered quickly. 
	" Seya then." Shino replied and hung up her phone. 
	" Now where's my costume?" Asuku asked curiously. She began to tear apart her closet looking for it. " There!" She smiled happily and grabbed it. It was a blue dress that was puffy and you could see the little lining of white on the bottom edges. It only reached her mid thigh and came down on her shoulders like a business coat, except the there were no sleeves and she wore a white turtleneck underneath, which just about covered her little hands. She wore a blue hat that rested on her mid head and reached her neck. It had two black ties hanging down from it and gold lining on the hat, the collar of the dress, the ends of the dress, and gold buckles on her shoes. 
	" Hey! Little monster!" Vegeta called from downstairs. " Shino's here to see ya!" 
	" Coming!" She yelled as she hung up the costume and ran down to the music room. The sun light poured into the room, it was actually their ballroom but she used it as  her practice room. 
	" So glad you could finally make it." Shino joked, throwing her hands up on the top of the piano and raising her head high. 
	" Haha." Asuku glared and sighed as she took her position at the center of the room. " Here's the music." She handed the music to Shino who began to play it. 
	"Release me...release your heart, hisomu pawaa. Watashi no sekai, yuke to koi to fuan de dekiteru..." Asuku began to ring off notes. 
	" This is a new song..." Shino paused, thinking in her mind. "Her music...it's always so sad." Shino sighed, looking at the black hair girl who was ringing off notes. Her blue eyes shimmered in the winter light and the sun shinning in brightened her tone. Asuku's eyes fell back towards Shino. 
	"Oops..." She whispered, blushing furiously, and went back to playing the piano. "I though I saw something behind her..." Asuku began to giggle. After the song had stopped Asuku leaned onto the top of the piano. Her white jacket blew softly in the milled wind. 
	" What was bothering you?" She asked not looking at her. 
	" Huh!?" Shino's head flung up. " Nothing...nothing at all..." 
	" Then why were you..."
	" Asuku!"
	" Coming!" Asuku shouted back to her grandmother.
" Hey little monster!" They heard a younger voice call after her grandmother.
" I'm coming! I'm coming! Yesh!" Asuku stomped out of the room.  
" Phew..." Shino sighed. " That was close." Shino let her hands dangle from her seat and dropped her head softly. 
" Perfect..." A cool voice whispered into her ear. 
" Huh what was that?" She flung up, her chair flying backwards as she assumed a fighting position. 
	Silence. Nothing was there. The curtains blew in the wind and the mild sunlight danced on the floor. 
	" I heard someone...I'm sure of it." Shino stood still and looked around. She had forgotten about the fighting position and heard the knob to the door fiddle open.  " W...who's...t...there?" Shino gasped. 
	" Sorta funny ain't it." She heard Asuku laugh. " I've lived here all my life and I can't even open the door." 
	" Yeah." Shino answered, relieved. 
	" Anything wrong?"
	" No. Nothing...nothing at all." Shino answered quickly, almost in a snap. Asuku back away and looked at her sadly. 
	" Hey little monster were leaving!" Vegeta called through the door. He looked from Shino back to Asuku. " So move it both of you."
	" Yeah I'll go get my costume." Asuku backed out of the door, nervously. 
	" Okay." Shino said unhappily. 
	" Not soon enough." Asuku sighed as she fell from her feet as she closed the door. Her hand slipped of the handle and she fell to the floor with a thump. " She's usually so happy. Oh well it's not my problem I have to be happy and full of energy or people will think I've gone completely crazy." She laughed, jumping to her feet. She grabbed the costume and ran out of the door. 
	" Come on we're going to be late." Vegeta looked angrily at her. 
	" What's your problem?" Asuku asked happily. 
	" I have to set up the entire thing in less than an hour." He snapped back and she laughed as he pushed her into the limo, beside Shino. 
	" This is going to be a long ride." Asuku sighed as she tried to tune out Vegeta. 
	" Asuku come on." Shino took her hand and ran out of the long black car. Asuku ran behind her, a smile on both their faces. 
	" Good day!" Asuku chanted as they entered the stage area. 
	" Good morning!"
	" Good morning Asuku-Chan!"
	" Hey Asuku!" Goku came up from behind her. " you two finally got here...just in time too you'll be up first." 
	" What!?" Misako exclaimed from behind them. " Asuku I have to fix your costume and do our hair and make-up..." She trailed Asuku into a nearby make-up room. 
	" Aseriana!" Shino waved. " Hey Aseriana over here!" Aseriana ran up to them. 
	" Hi guys...um where are Vegeta and Asuku?" 
	" Setting up." Shino started. 
	" Getting make-up on." Goku finished for her. 
	" Okay I wanted you two to see my costume for the drama part." She pulled out a long red dress that looked like a devils almost. 
	" I'm stuck as the narrator." Shino grumbled and pointed up to the huge box in the top right corner. 
	" That's okay I'm working the lights." Goku added. Their school was putting on their version of sleeping beauty this year. Aseriana had scored the part of the wicked witch, Misako, Sunni, and Umi were the three beautiful fairies. Vegeta was not only in charge of the whole thing but also the king. Tomoyo was queen and various other students played guards and towns people. Kazu, due to a whole night of praying, was given the part of the leading role...the princess! But that's not why he was happy, Asuku was, through a random search, was given the part of the prince. 
	" Misako!" Asuku shouted as Misako tried to fix the bottom of her dress. 
	" What Suku-Chan?" Misako stood up thinking she hurt her friend. 
	" I have to go on." She pointed to the stage. 
	" Oh okay. Good luck." She gave a thumbs up and let Shino and Asuku walked up onto the stage. 
	" Shino you ready?" Asuku asked, still a little distant from Shino. 
	" Yeah..." She answered sadly. She took her seat and began to play the song sheets that Asuku had given her. 
	" Release me daijoubu. Release my heart..." Asuku sang on and on as everyone's heart and ears opened to their music. But neither of the two girls were smiling. Their faces seemed so sad. Once she ended on her note everyone began clapping. They exited the stage, on different sides. 
	" Shino you were great." A couple of her classmates came up to congratulate her. One the other side Asuku was getting praise from almost everyone. Shino could see her blue eyes drifting over towards her. Asuku's eyes were sad and her smile tried to say other wise. 
	" Shino..." She stood in front of her. 
	" Yeah." Shino turned and began to walk away. Asuku smiled again and was dragged of by Misako to get her costume on. Shino walked up to the box where she was reading. A couple of other presentations went on until the time of the play. 
	" And now please stay seated for this year's play...Sleeping Beauty." Shino's voice rang over the intercom. 
	" Come on lights..." Goku finally got them on. 
	" A long time ago a king and queen wished for a baby and so it was granted. .They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, named Aurora. On her first birthday they celebrated with a huge festival and the fairies came to give their blessings."
	" One this day we celebrate the birth of my daughter Aurora." Vegeta commanded. Tomoyo smiled up and him. 
	" Let the fairies come." She sweetly stated. The three fairies made their way up and presented their gifts. 
	" I give her the gift of beauty." Misako stated. 
	" I give to her the gift of song." Umi stated. 
	" But before the third fairy could present her gift," Shino began. " A wicked queen arrived." With that a puff of smoke appeared and Aseriana was seen laughing at the back of the room. 
	" You pathetic little creatures..." Aseriana made her way towards the stage. 
	" What are you doing here?" Vegeta growled.
	" I heard you hated festive occasions!" Tomoyo cried out. 
	" Wow Vegeta and Tomoyo are in real good character." Asuku whispered from behind the curtains. Her long prince hat reached her neck and she inserted the sword into her belt. The play pressed on while a strange mist began to fill the theatre. No one seemed to notice it though. 
	" This is harder than I thought." Shino sighed.
	" Perfect..."
	" That voice..." Shino looked down at the crowds to see anyone but all she saw was Asuku behind the curtains pointing to the script. Shino blushed and turned the microphone back on.
	" Well that's my cue..." Asuku giggled. 
	" Years past and finally a young prince came in search of the princess." Shino said quickly. 
	" Who's there?" Asuku flung her sword out. 
	" Please don't." Misako pleaded. 
	" We are fairies." Umi added, and the three of them bowed.
	" We need you to walk up our princess." Sunni finished, trying not to sneeze. 
	" I will do my best." Asuku said and flung her sword back in her belt. The four girls remembered practice when Asuku would accidentally miss her belt and really hurt someone. But Asuku did it right and as the second act closed people began to clap.
	" Perfect." The voice crept up onto Asuku. 
	" Huh?" She turned around to look for someone but there was absolutely no one around.  
	" Asuku move it!" Sunni pushed her on stage. Her fight scene with Aseriana was already over and she had one left.
	" This is so great I get to kiss Asuku-Chan!" Kazu smiled at his thought. 
	" The princess!" Asuku exclaimed. " I must wake her with a kiss." She leaned over. Goku and Vegeta leaned over the railing that went around the theatre. 
	" He better not." Vegeta and Goku growled together. But as Asuku leaned closer the mist began to enclose her. It began to hold her tightly and she screamed out in pain. 
	" Asuku!" Goku and Vegeta jumped down from the railing and pushed Kazu out of the way. Along with Shino and Aseriana's help they got it off her. It revealed it's self to be a small pig of some type. It proved to have no power what so ever and Aseriana knocked him out with one punch. 
	" What a weakling." She said unhappily.
