Operation A.S.U.K.U
Chapter 2: Zero Room: Zero Chance of Living
	“ Perhaps if I had never been found I would have died. That’s why I was so keen on helping them 
complete the mission no matter what. That’s what I think Mr. Warui found interesting about me. Unlike the 
other soldiers who talked out of turn or back talked I was consistently the perfect soldier but I envied 
them…they could feel they had families but what did I have? I was empty with no heart living in a world 
where I didn’t belong.”
	“ I want you all to take an example from her. Observe her and you’ll become stronger soldiers.” 
Kaji urged as he spoke to the soldiers as the girl waited inside the empty room with Master Warui. 
	“ You’ll be fine.” He said to her as she looked at him. “ It’ll be just like yesterday.” He said 
assuring her. “ I hope…” He whispered to himself. 
	“ It’s okay Master Warui.” She said sweetly. “ I will fight for our planet and I’ll be happy as long 
as they’re happy.” She smiled and he stared in wonder as he left the room. 
	“ Ready 119211121?” Kaji asked through the microphone. She gave him a thumbs up sign. 
	“ What are you doing?” Master Warui asked as Kaji adjusted some knobs. 
	“ She did two hours yesterday so today she’ll do three.” He snickered. Many people looked in 
horror while others simply didn’t care about her. As the screen went black they saw her in the Takai Tenshi 
mobile suit. Many lasers, guns and various weapons were being shot off. Desperately she dogged them 
until she got a chance to attack. Her laser cannon could only wipe out about six or seven at a time and there 
was near to a hundred. 
	“ Child stay in there.” Master Warui’s voice quaked quietly. Slowly she began to wipe out more 
and more suffering little damage. When only twenty remained the Takai Tenshi stopped moving. 
	“ Come on you damn machine start working!” She pounded at the controls but it had stopped 
moving. Ten of the mobile suits surrounded the machine and began to get ready to fire.
	“ There’s still half an hour left and you can’t turn this thing off.” Faye whimpered.  
	“ I won’t lose.” They heard the small girl’s voice usually gentle voice. But he voice was cold and 
her eyes were empty as the door to her suit opened. She jumped out and was blown back as the ten suits 
blasted her Takai Tenshi. There was a huge explosion and the ten surrounding mobile suits were destroyed 
and four others were two as they rushed to help destroy it. 
	“ She lived…” Kaji was speechless. Master Warui smiled at the girl as they all watched her 
intensely. 
	“ Where are the last six?” She looked around but it was empty. “ I know only fourteen were 
around me but the radar said there was would still be six left. I don’t understand…”The sound of big 
machinery was heard from behind her. Three suits walked up to her. “ At least I can get three now.” She 
jumped up and pulled out a laser gun from her belt. She blasted into the energy holders of all of them. The 
three suits dropped to the floor and so did 119211121. She was breathing heavy and could go on much 
longer. The three remaining suits shot out three beams it was headed straight for her. 
	“ 119211121!” Tori yelled as a beep was heard. 
	“ What was that?” Umi asked. 
	“ Time’s up.” Taiyou said. Master Warui opened the door and caught her just as she was about to 
hit the ground. She was panting and her face was white. She had a fever and was still shaking. 
	“ Child are you okay.” He asked as he picked her up. She nodded slowly.
	“ I’m sorry to worry you. You’re making a big effort for me and I’m truly sorry.” She sniffled. He 
tried to make a smile for her but he felt so sorry for her. “ I wasn’t think I could have destroyed them all but 
I got cocky.” She said to them as they came out of the room. A few bruises and some cuts, not much worse 
then yesterday.
	“ Extraordinary.” Kaji thought. 
	“ Kaji she can’t go in there again!” Master Warui barked. He had told Faye to take her back to her 
room. 
	“ Hn.” 
	“ Don’t you under stand how dangerous this is? She’ll die if you go through with it.”
	“ I know.” Kaji’s silent tone took him by surprise. 
	“ Then I no longer support operation A.S.U.K.U. I will only stay for her sake.” He coldly 
whispered. 
	“ Fine!” He said loudly as Master Warui left.

	“ What happened?” 119211121 said as she opened her eyes. Faye’s face was the first thing she 
saw. 
	“ Oh your awake. Do you want something to eat Chan?” The girl looked at her. 
	“ Why did you call me Chan? She asked forgetting about the food. 
	“ Well it’s a little name I always put at the end of children’s names. But since you don’t have a 
real name I’ll call you Chan. Now do you want something to eat?” She asked sweetly. Her long blue hair in 
two pigtails as the girl looked at her with a smile on her face.
	“ Sure.” She giggled. “ Why are you doing all this for me?” She asked as Faye sat down beside her 
and gave her a tray. 
	“ You went through horrible training and you need rest.” She giggled. She ate and they talked. 
	“ I have no past.” Chan said quietly. 
	“ How horrible.” Faye softly said. Chan shook her head she didn’t want people to feel sorry for 
her.  She got dressed and mended to her cuts and bruises. 
	“ 119211121.” The door opened and there stood Kaji. “ You have to get back to training.” He 
grabbed her hand and brought her back to the Zero Room. Faye’s eyes watered as she caught a glimpse of 
Chan’s eyes. For three days Chan never left the Zero Room. She hardly ate or slept but had grown 
incredibly stronger. 
	“ Master Warui why are you letting him do this to her?” Umi asked him as they waited for her to 
return. 
	“ Oh little kawaii Chan…” Faye whispered. The door opened slowly and they stared in shock as 
Kaji and a little girl walked in. Her face was covered in cuts and blood stained her pale face. Her arms were 
tattered and her clothes were ripped and as she took steps her leg limbed. 
	“ Child.” Master Warui stood up to great her but instead of her smiling face and her glimmering 
blue eyes he saw something completely different. Her eyes were a dark blue with no feeling and no a smile 
or a frown crossed her face. 
	“ Hello everyone.” She said. Her sweet voice was no more and it was replaced with a cold tone. 
	“ Chan…” Faye started but the girl’s head flung around to look at her. 
	“ I do not have a name. I will only respond to 119211121 for now.” She shut Faye up. 
	“ What did you do to her Kaji?” Master Warui groaned. 
	“ Turned her into the absolute perfect soldier.” He laughed.
