| Year: 1989 Make: Merkur Model: Scorpio Mileage: 108,000 miles Build Date: November, 1988 (exact date yet to be determined) Purchase Date: December 2, 1998 (with just over 86,000 miles on the clock) Powerplant: 2.9L V6 w/ EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) Transmission: Automatic Repairs Made During Restoration: rebuilt transmission; new axles; new tires; new headliner; new speedometer; new stereo; bodywork and new paint; new fan clutch; many new hoses; new brakes; new rotors; new nitrogen ball; entirely new exhaust (done twice....first done at Meineke and man did they screw it up!); replaced various bulbs; new moonroof moisture seal; new power steering rack assembly; new alternator; and a few other small fixes along the way.
