About Me
My name is Paul-Michael and I am a 22-year-old college student living in Northeastern PA.  I was home-schooled from 6th-11th grade (12th I was in college already).  I am an avid car enthusiast and have been one for as long as I can remember.  I currently drive my 1989 Merkur Scorpio and 1992 Volvo 740 Turbo Wagon.  I am currently searching for a second Merkur Scorpio and a Merkur XR4Ti to add to my collection as well, and I plan to purchase a DeLorean as a graduation present to myself when I finish college (if I end up with a job that pays enough!).

Aside from my passion for cars, I was an on-air personality for my region's largest radio station, WKRZ-FM.  I am now a mobile DJ for
Frankie Carll Productions, as well as an on-air personality known as "DJ Hook" at my college's radio station, 99.5 WUSR.  I am always listening to music, whether on the radio or on my computer or in my car.  My music collection is about as diverse as can be.  I listen to everything from the Billy Joel to Disturbed, Hanson to Linkin Park, James Taylor to Duncan Sheik, and even more obscure (but equally wonderful) artists like Jamie Myerson and Howie Day.  As an employee at a radio station, I have had the priviledge of meeting several top-name recording artists including Hanson, Third Eye Blind, "Weird Al" Yankovic, the Kinleys, the Wilkinsons and Shelby Starner.

In addition to my love of cars, I am collector of Nike sneakers, currently with 90+ pairs of kicks total.  Some prize sneakers in my collection include pairs of original Air Jordan VI & VII (from 1991 and 1992), Air Foamposite Pro, Air Max2 CB '94, and Air Total Foamposite Max.  Check out
NikeTalk for some more information on the growing sneaker enthusiast population!

In my spare time (when I'm not playing with my cars), I do a lot of typical teenager things, like go to movies with my buds, surf the 'net, playing video games and cruise through town with my radio up (oh, wait, that would be a car thing, wouldn't it!).

For all young drivers reading this:
One thing that I'm very proud of is the fact that even though my car is very fast indeed, I have not gotten a single ticket (speeding, parking or otherwise) in the  6+ years I've been on the road.  I have also never been involved in an accident (which I attribute to my law-abiding speed).  I like to say "People can tell my cars are fast...I don't need to show them what they already know."  I just don't want to put myself and others in danger while I show I can drive a car too fast.  Driving  at safe speeds is such a very important practice.  Speeding makes you look stupid, not cool.  It most certainly isn't cool to be on the side of the road, waiting for the cop in the squad car behind you to finish writing your ticket!  In case you didn't know, when you get a ticket, you not only have to pay the fine, but you'll be dealing with much higher insurance rates as a result of your fast driving.  Hopefully you'll take my word for it!  And this concludes my rambling.
