| Parn, son of Tessius who is once a gallant knight serving Fahn , the king of Valis. Being brave and fearless, this young knight seek to restore his father's tarnished name. Wort the old sage, foreseen that he will be the key figure to save Lodoss, and his lack of experience being his only stumble-block. However, with time and companions, he grows to become one of the best knights ever. |
| Deedlit, the high elf, is attracted to Parn. She is both skilled in her magic and her sword fighting skills. Although at times naughty, she is genarally a kind-hearted elf who can percive dangerous situations better than the hot-headed Parn. Her love for Parn show's true in the end as her life is put in great peril and only Parn can save her. |
| Etoh, a warm-hearted young priest, is a childhood friend of Parn. He hoped that by joining the party, he could travel around to help the needies and to practise his incredible healing ability. Being a priest, he is well respected by the people in Vallis. He stays with the party through thick and thin despite great danger and his inability to fight. |
| Slayn, the soft-spoken magic user, stayed in the same village as Parn. His old friend Ghim, finally managed to pursuade him to join the party of six heroes to investigate the evil presence in Lodoss. Hidden behind this fragile frame of his is the mastery in magic which often helps the party to survive many critical sutiations during their perilous journey together. |
| Ghim, an old but strong grizzled dwarf, is one of the first to train Parn in his sword fighting skill. His mission is to find Leylia, the daughter of the high priest Neese, who went missing seven years ago. Being the oldest member in the party, he is very well respected by the other members. His death in the middle of their journey was a great loss for all but the mighty warrior would go to any length to save Leylia. |
| Woodchuck, better known as Wood in the party, is a cynical thief who likes to gamble a lot. Though he has a weak spot for wealth, he is generally a cool and good-natured thief. He never knows that something drastic is going to happen to him as the story unfolds. |
