The Mirrored Path
The Mirrored Path is basically the balance between Light and Dark: Good and Evil. This idea is the Light cannot exist without Dark, and the two always come together.
Examples of the Mirrored Path can be found in religion - in the Christian religion there is God who is Good, or Light, and on the other side of the Mirrored path the Devil exists.
This Balance also exists within us, and the things that we do. It is natural that no human can be perfect, and that is because Good and Evil exist within us.
Everyone has the choice between following the ways of Good or Evil; but a good person can still cause pain to others, and that is the way of the Mirrored Path. It is impossible to overcome all the evil inside of us, because evil is a part of us, and was since the Original Sin (to Christians this was was the first sin that happened in the Garden of Eden). We can however begin to understand it.
Every choice we make will have two outcomes; good and evil. We cannot control these outcomes, however much we try. Unless you are in a completely controlled environment and situation anything could happen which will affect the way the balance swings. There are things you can do which you can be pretty sure will have a positive effect, such as giving to charity. However, you can never know that what you do will be 100% positive.
In magic this works the same way. Magic aimed at others will have this effect, even some spells will hurt or help others indirectly. There are specifically Evil Spells, which will have a deiberately bad outcome for
all involved.

The Mirrored Path is ultimately about good and evil forces in the world. All sources of Good must be matched by an equal source of Evil, as I have explained from religion. It is hard to understand the Mirrored Path - and even harder to explain - for it works in many ways and forms. I believe that if you are pointed in the right direction you will come to understand for yourself how it works and what it is. It is easier for religious people to understand, because they will be faced with this concept pretty much every day, and their religion and its ideas about Good and Evil will force them to understand the delicate balance, which is the Mirrored Path.
