Introduction
First of all, what is black magic?
Technically, nearly everyone who practices Magic is practising Black Magic. Black Magic is the art of using Magic to affect the will of another. For instance, if you cast a spell to make someone fall in love with you, that is considered Black Magic, whereas if you were to cast a spell which would simply make you more conducive to love energies, that is not considered as Black Magic.
But that is a simple definition. Black Magic is most commonly seen as evil, used by dark wizards, and that is what this 'book' is about.

The Rule of Three
The Rule of Three is a fabled warning to all users of True Black Magic, that is, all who wish to use Black Magic for Evil. It's effects have not been proven, but all legend is based on fact, and veteran philosophers believe it was, or even is, a strong piece of Old magic brought by ancient wizards to balance the shaken Mirrored Path. This is what the rhyme warned:
Ever mind the Rule of Three
Three times what thou givest returns to thee.
This lesson well, thou must learn,
Thee only gets what thou dost earn.

This Book
This book does not intend to teach you Black Magic, for that is not my job. What it will teach you is a history and information about black magic, how to use it and the consequences of using it.

1.
Black Magic is Evil. Do not use it if you are not prepared to accept that, and if you are unable to accept the consequences.

2.
I am not referring to the Black Magic spoken of in the Introduction, but of True Black Magic which is evil.

3.
Look at the users of Black Magic: The Lord Voldemort, and users of Black Magic should not fear his name, as an example. What is it you wish to use Black Magic for? This book does not intend to promote Black Magic as used by Voldemort, but one must remember that dabbling in the Dark Arts can lead to far bigger things.

4.
Black Magic is not like any other magic. The fact that it is Pure Evil is a fact you must consider when using it, but using it, or studying it does not make you evil.

5.
Know when to stop. Black Magic is very easy to become 'addicted' - if you like - to. You may begin by just messing around with it, but when you start using it is easy to start using it more and more, trying more powerful spells and so on, until you become a true Dark Wizard/Witch.

6.
A Dark Wizard is someone who uses magic for Evil, they themselves are evil. As a finishing note I wonder if you would like to become that.
