Frequently Asked Questions....

Well, well, when u indulge in a drinking spree with ur frens, how many times have u suddenly feel like buying more booze huh? And the fact that we're just college kids trying to save money, its perfectly normal of us to buy only what we think is enough. But then, there's always that uninvited guest popping up suddenly or broken bottles that make you feel like you wanna have more booze, but its way past the 11pm curfew time right? So, where the f@#$ can one get more booze at this time of the nite???? every God damned shop have closed...
Fear not, you'll get your well deserved fair share of booze, if u simply follow this few steps of mine...

Go to the bar that you know. Its obviously closed now as 11pm's long gone...
Despair not. Dont just look at the shop from a distance, say "Damn, its closed" and then go back to bed feeling miserable and unsatisfied... If you used to do this, then you're the biggest loser i've ever known...

Instead, go right up to closed bar and they'll be either one of the two things...

i) Look around the bar. There's usually this small hole on the door, kinda secret opening stuff. knock gently. If u knock harshly, chances of that secret hole opening is nil. The owners don't want any trouble... Once u knocked softly, the hole will open, and then just say the magic word.

ii)Some places don't have this secret hole opening stuff. So, u will have to follow a different plan. Stand infront of closed door. Look around for 5 seconds. Make sure no cops are around. Make no sudden movement. Suddenly, out of the shadows of the nite, a man in black will appear. Don't try to figure out where he came out from or whether he's an alien. Give him the order, and the money ofcourse. He'll disappear as swiftly n mysteriously as he appeared, reappearing after 2 mins. Get the stuff. Dont ask whether he brought the right stuff, or which planet he's from. Turn around, walk, and don't look back. Erase him immediately from memory. The two of you have never met before.

The two methods explained above are most successful when executed at the bars near Railway Stations, Local/Route Bus depot, Colleges and other places where u can expect people to move around late at night. And, oh, make sure u're not wearing a cop's uniform.

Incase they don't work out, don't blame me. With many raids now and then, the owners too are scared of the cops. But there's this bar at Hopes College area, which remain unofficially open always, 24hours a day. I cannot give out the name of that bar, in fear that the cops might raid that place too. So, if u're interested, meet me personally, and i'll give you the address.

Guys, i repeat, no two type of drinks go well with each another. If you're drinking whisky, make sure u drink ONLY whisky, unless ofcourse u wanna have a severe hangover or even puke. Sipping is no problem, but when u're drinking in large quantity, stick to only one type of drink. Even when u're having cocktails, say a brandy cocktail(a grasshopper), and u wanna continue that with normal drinks, make sure u have just brandy and brandy alone. Beer is something that's forgivable, but that too not in huge quantity...

Actually, the severity of your hangover, depends not much on the type of drink you're having, but rather on how much you're having. But anyway, for me, rum is something thats never given me a hangover, even after passing out. Brandy, Vodka and Gin gives me a light hangover, and whisky is a bit more severe. I've had only 5 really heavy hangover my entire life, and all those have come from beer! and by beer, i mean atleast 10 bottles at one go. Man, i feel so f@#$up the whole day... sometimes cocktails too play around in my head. Champagne and wine is said to give a steady hangover too, but i've never drank that much to get one. Another time, i got quite a heavy hangover after visiting all the various pubs in b'lore during our vacation. there, i had around 5 shots of tequila, but then, i mixed a lot of other drinks too.
