Some of the Common Terms used...
( Surely u don't wanna be left out when one o' ur frenz sez sum thingie about the drink n' everybody starts laughing, do you ? Ofcourse, if you're a Thomas, you'll join in along with the laughter even though u didn't understand the joke !!! )
Here it is :
"On the Rocks" - With ice
"Straight up" - Without ice
"Twist" - Use a lemon twist
"Double" - Double up the drink
"Dirty" - Use olive juice from the jar
"Dry" - Less Vermouth
"With salt" - Salted rim
"Splash" - A smaller amount of the mixer
Other not so famous terms :
"Full" - 750 ml
"Half" - 375 ml
"Quarter" - 250 ml
"Large" - 60 ml
"Small" - 30 ml
"Fun khat" - 1 packet local
"A sen chi" - Not Local
"Bottom's up" - first to gulp down the drink is the winner
"Vun mor gilaas" - One final drink
"Ai vil pay phor da dirinks" - Let me pay for the drinks
"I will pay for the drinks" - Please don't let me pay
"huh?","what?","huh.." - I'm drunk
"zawnga" - I'm drunk
"Min cho a lo" - I'm drunk
" " - Don't feel like talking, coz i wanna puke
"Bwuaaaaaarrrrkkkhhhhhh" - Can drink no more
