Pet Sematary was the first and only Steven King book I've read so far. This book was very gory at the end, but it didn't scare me while I was reading it. Now, AFTER I read it that is when it started to freak me out a little. I now have no desire to ever visit Maine, go deep into forests, or ever go to a pet cemetery. Pet Sematary was not a book I would read again, mostly because I don't think I could ever forget it, but also because when it ended it left me thinking 'Wait, that's it? What just happened? What's going on??" So, if you like horror books, or Steven King books, this is probably a something you will like, but I give it 3 out of 5 because of the confusing and unexplained ending.
