Sil, our great and worthy non-boardmomma, created the sanctuary on 1st febuary 2001 so that a group of us who met at the BC&S board/chat could still talk(and escape MC) despite the obstacles(doyle wanting to go spoiler free, the really annoying time differences that plague us, people actually having to sleep etc.) It really started out so we could just leave 'hey, how are you guys' messages for eachother, but became a..well, proper board with a chat room and everything...and with lots of..umm, lively discussions and..umm, interesting people *cough goatman cough* .Then, we all discovered the joys of HTML and the ability to yell FUCK!!! in huge red letters and have no one tell ya off(an ability which we seem to take advantage of a lot) altho really don't know why I'm saying all this cos if you're here, you probably already knew all that :)
Anyways, I then decided maybe it would be kinda fun to make a little website thingy to go with the board cos I figured it would give me something to do, and having discovered a bit of html, I kinda wanted to see what I could do...and the result of my efforts..is well, this *looks around*..kinda a rip-off of E's book, only not nearly so good or big...but this was all done in fun(hey, i rhymed!)so I hope no-one takes it, well, too seriously and gets offended or nothing...well, I hope you guys won't, but if you're not one of the...people who I think you are, then I guess you might..unless you just found this place by accident...in which case you probably think I'm crazy..and you would be right..go you! :)
Anyways, I would just like to say thanks to sil for creating this place and to Alex for being the 'it doesn't suck!' person while I was making this site thingy, which helped me not to..you know, give up. Thanks yous two *big big hugs* :)
Well, I guess that's pretty much it, so, have a look around the site...or, not...if, you don't want to, i mean, i'm not gonna force you or nothing...it's..well, pretty small and crappy and I don't have many pages..but hopefully it'll grow with time...speaking of which, if you have anything you'd like me to add...posts from the board, fics, wallpapers, links, photos of your uncle's god son's pets, anything, please email it to me([email protected])and i'll add it :)
oh, and a lil' note quickly, in the threads section, i have not always included every post in that thread, cos..basically, i don't have the patience :)
