Note from silver: This was originally posted on the BC&S, but it was too funny, so I had to post it here :)
*Finally*, we get to see BvD. May I just say, yay???? Well, I am anyhow. Im writing this in Word, waiting for my mum to get off of the phone (its nearly midnight, and shes having yet another late-night chat with my nanna guess its one of the downsides of being in a nocturnal family), so I have to type this up and wait for the phone line to free up. Sigh. Yes, I lead a difficult life. ;)
Adding insult to injury, Buffy was almost 15 minutes late starting, because freakin Temptation Island ran majorly overtime. It just kept going, and going, and I was severely tempted to put my fist through that Mark Walberg guys face (although I daresay I would have felt the same way even if he wasnt delaying Buffy).
The ep was pretty cool, though. You could really see the influence of the different stunt co-ordinators not sure which ones I liked better guess they both have their own inherent charms. ;) And the opening credits I saw the Snoopy Dance and LMFAO!!! Hehe, I couldnt shut up for ages. I kept on thinking about it throughout the ep, and just started laughing all over again. Heck, Im laughing now. Man, I cant *wait* for two weeks time. :)
Sorry, this would be a shorter post if I wasnt killing time `til I can get online. I tell my mum we need another phone line, but does she listen? Sigh. Im assuming Ill be able to get online before three freakin a.m. Hmm, its fun watching Word spell-check me. Seems like words such as freakin, ep, hehe, BvD, majorly, yay and Walberg arent in its vocabulary. For shame. Except maybe on that last count. And yay, now its even saying that for shame isnt a viable sentence. Well, bite me, Word! And of course that second-to-last sentence, and this one too, in a minute, are/will be all underlined in that annoying little squiggly green line, because they both start with And. Well, that last sentence *didn't* underline. How very odd.
You guys should be glad that I normally dont type my posts up in Word first. I get distracted *way* too easily. Like by the fact that the words you put in asterisks automatically bolden. MAYBE I DIDNT WANT THEM BOLD, YOU HUNK OF CRUD!!! And it changed my smiley face to a fancy one, too. *pouts* Oh, crud. Now I cant even emote in asterisks. It just boldens them, and puts a capital on it, because its at the start of a sentence. I HATE WORD!!! Im gonna have to go back and change all of this when I get online thats assuming that I ever do. Is it too much to ask, to get online one night a week and share my joy at finally getting to see new Buffy eps, and perhaps even distract myself from the ever-present spoilers? NYARGH!!! Man, this share my joy thing is really stressful.
Cool, almost 40 minutes since Buffy finished. And my mum has been on the phone to my nanna since partway through the ep. Before that, she was on the phone to my sister. I guess I inherited the same genes, just in an I like to talk online way. Man, this sucks. Get off! GEEET OFFFFFFFF!!!!
Well, since Im in such a bad mood now, and my happiness has been completely and utterly destroyed my a large meat hammer with extra pointy bits, Ill take this moment to extend my commiserations to all who are yet to witness the wonder that is s5 Buffy (although you wouldnt know it was good from the way Ive been going on).
AARGH! G.E.T. O.F.F. O.F. T.H.E. P.H.O.N.E.!!!!!!! Wow, Ive written over a page. This sucks. And you poor people are reading it. If you ever get the chance to. I think I should go to bed right now, and get up and post this in the morning. At least Id stand *some* chance of getting online.
Heh, twas funny seeing Riley there. Id become used to the thought of him in Belize, being slowly gnawed to death by a pack of demons. Strange, too since I only have a few s4 eps on tape, most of my contact with the name Tara has been online, and thus Ive been thinking of it in an Australian accent (i.e. Tah-rah instead of Teh-rah). Heh, it just kept on changing the Teh to The. Its very annoying. Anyway, I was thinking, oh great, now I have to get used to the American pronunciation again, and whos the first person I hear saying it? Giles, in a British accent. Sigh. STOP UNDERLINING MY SENTENCES, DAMN YOU!!
See, this is what happens when I cant post straight away. I can ramble like you wouldnt believe (Im sure sil can attest to that, with some of the e-mails Ive written while offline). I apologise for all this, truly I do. Time to go out and give my mum one of my patented GET THE HECK OFFA THE PHONE, WOMAN!! glares. And why didnt it underline offa?? Sigh. Wonders never cease. Wow, it censored it in lower case. Stupid programme. Man, the eps been over for almost an hour. This sucks. (In case you hadnt noticed.)
Kay, just gave her a raised eyebrow (well, two, I cant really do one, cause I suck) and a meaningful/hopeful look. That oughta show her. Damn straight. And that ep left me with a major craving for a jelly doughnut. Ive only ever had one once in my life, a hot one at the Royal Show, and it exploded over my jacket, leaving stains which remain there til this day. Goodtimes, goodtimes.
Do not underline my writing. I will not change it. You cannot win.
Wow, just realised that I decided not to watch midnight X-Files because Id be talking to you guys, and I just realised that it must be halfway over. Think Ill leave this awhile, watch the remainder of X-Files whilst directing pointed stares at my mum, and then return to this masterpiece, and post the bloody thing. Feel free to sigh in relief. Man, Ive been looking forward to this moment (well, that moment an hour ago when Buffy finished) for months, now. And what happens? DENIED! Meh. Dont correct my meh, damn you! I think Ill have to start chaining my mum up on Tuesday nights from now on (please, no rude comments from the audience). But to X-Files and meaningful stares I go.
