I don't understand. I took my umbrella out with me today. Wanted to see if I could make it rain. Just thought that maybe, if the sun, God and sky saw me all prepared for a downfall..that it'd start. But alas it didn't. The only thing that wet my face were my own tears. Sigh. I wiped them away, cuz I couldn't let them know..know how much they'd hurt me. Has anyone else had a quarter or other coin that's gotten stuck in a gum ball machine? That's what happened to me. If I think about it, I just start crying again.
But enough about the bad of today. Let's focus on the good. I saw a whale. Magnificent. Truly magnifcent. If you haven't been lucky enough to see one, I strongly suggest you go down to your local butcher store and ask to see one. They may tell you that they don't keep whales there.. but if you pressure them enough and show them either how strong you are or money, they will take you to the back where the whales are.
This particular whale's name was Tony. I said to the trainer, that I didn't think that was a very whale like name. He just looked at me shook his head and sighed. "We don't name the whales here, their mothers name them." I tilted my head and looked at him slightly confused. "But how do you understand what they're saying?" I asked. "We just do. We just do." Was all he'd say. I then just stood back and watched as this whale, performed the most amazing acts. In the movies when they show whales jumping up and splashing just doesn't compare to real life or what this one did.
And that was my day. Yep.
