There's no reason for this post. He's left the show, for now, and things are better. But let's look, really look at this actor. Why are so many drawn to him and others are replused.
Please remember, I'm talking about Narc, not riley.
At the beginning he seemed like a dorky (and I mean that in a good way) all 'round guy. Normal family, small town..etc. Then he started posting at the Bronze. Saying how he realized that people didn't like his character and that he hoped riley would grow on people.(paraphrasing) "If you can't take the heat, get outta the kitchen."
He's also mentioned things here and there, which I can't recall right now, that give one a clear impression that he *IS* indeed riley. They "act" the same. Also the man is 29 years old and has never had a drop of alcohol. Now, I'm not suggesting that he should be boozing it up or even have had a "rebellious" teen phase. But I find it slightly odd that during all those years, he's never had a sip of champagne at a wedding or a cold beer at a barbeque or even after helping a friend move. Small things amuse and amaze me.
Now lets look at how he decided to get into acting.
Back in the day he was a basketball player. And he was pretty good. He played over in Europe for several years and then decided to try his hand at the WNBA..kidding. Just the regular NBA. They rejected him because he wasn't good enough. Bummed he decided to go and rent a movie. That movie choice? A Few Good Men. After watching, our boy decided he wanted to go to law school and become a real great lawyer. So he studied and he worked hard and he studied some more. Inevitably the bar exam was fast approaching. It was around this time that he decided to watch A Few Good Men again, for inspiration. It was during that watching that he slapped his head and said, "Gosh darn it, I don't want to BE a lawyer, I want to PLAY a lawyer." There was maybe 2 weeks left before the bar. Possibly less. I'm not sure how many years one spends in law school, but I imagine it's a while. It took him that long to figure it out.
