| Doll Type: Cerebus Project/Delf: normal skin Na-Nu-Ri special head on Harang boy body. Name: Ringo Sex: Male Previously Fostered by: BrightFire's of the Den of Angel's forum Status: Home! Likes: Fall, friends, people, books, making jokes, playing games, taking care of others, fish and dogs. Dislikes: Being alone, mean/angry/spitful people, spicey foods. Background: Ringo was orphaned at some point in his life and went to live with BrightFire. He stayed with her a short time before coming to live with me. He's a kind and gentle soul who wishes to make everyone else around him comfortable and happy. He goes out of his way to make others smile and laugh. His goal is to create a safe haven for all "resin children" who no longer have a home. He considers himself the head of the crew, but does behave in an overbearing and strict rule. He is the "mother hen" of all who have come to live with him and I. Special History: Ringo has a special story that i felt was important to the development of his character. BrightFire's of the DoA forums recieved Ringo's head (a Na-Nu-Ri normal skin special head) as a gift from one of her orders. She already had a Nanuri and thus decided that she would give this head away. However the catch to this is she decided that since she recieved this head for free, that it would be wrong to sell the head...and thus put up an adoption thread on the forum. She put a time frame and asked for those wanting to seriously adopt and love him to put their names in a hat drawing. I saw Ringo, as she had now named him, and thought he was a very kind, smiley and gentle soul. from the first moment i saw him it made me smile. So i threw my name into the hat. After a few days of participating in bumping the thread as well as well wishes to all of the people who submitted their names in the drawing, (almost 200 names in fact!) i left the weekend the drawing ended. Only to discover late one night when i returned to see people wishing me well with my new addition. In my excitment i noticed i had a message that stated i had won him!! And to make things even better, he was officially my first doll!! I recieved him within several days, and my heart melted when i opened the box!! He was so handsome! and although he waited several months for me to save up for his body...it was a special time. i got to bond with him through him being my first as well as doing my first face-up! So although there are alot of Na-Nu-Ri's out there...i think Ringo is one of a kind. |
