Hand Made Wooden Handles for Tom Brown's TOPS Tracker Knife and Scout Knife

Hi! Thank you for checking this out!
About 2 years ago I decided that it was about time I made my TOPS Tracker and Scout knives a little more unique.
Why? For two reasons.
First, I've had the knives for almost 2 years at the time, and have done almost anything I could think of with them. I went through so much with those knives that I wanted to do something that will make them more uniquely mine.
Which brings me to the second reason, which is that all Tracker knives and all Scout knives look the same.
I wanted mine to be different.

So, I decided to create my own hand-made handles for both of them.
I joined forces with my friend and tracker Craig Seager and with the help of his dad's extensive wood shop set about carving out our handles (Thanks Jerry!).

I made my set out of Blood Wood, and Craig made his out of Ebony Wood.

I got many good reactions from tracker students who saw the knives with the hand-made handles, and since I need some extra cash, I decided to make them for anyone who's interested.

Because the handles are hand-made, they are not exactly the same shape and size as the manufactured Black Linen Micarta Handles. This means that they probably wont fit as well into the Kydex sheaths TOPS sell. Moreover, the Kydex is likely to scratch and abrade away the finish coating and/or the wood.
Because of this, both Craig and I made our own leather sheaths. These were improvised, Craig's being a very simple light weight sheath, and mine a very thick heavy duty one.

If you'd like to buy a leather sheath, check out my links below.

I provided the sheath pictures here so you can get a feel for what the knives look like in a sheath, and from more angles.

The wood handles attach to the knives with the same screwes provided for the Micarta handles, and the metal lanyard hole "liner".
Due to the lighting in the pictures, the handles appear to be much lighter in color than they truly are.

The one on the right has more contour and deeper finger grooves (more like the TOPS handles) than the one on the left.
You can specify any degree of it that you want.

These can be made as flat or as contoured as you want them to be, with or without the grooves on the top.
