Later that day, we went to a small town animal shelter. There, in this small room, were about 25 cats. I have to say, it's hard to choose! My eyes fell upon a gray tiger cat. He was timid, and quite shy, too. I didn't think I wanted this cat. He appeared to be shy and withdrawn and I wanted a cat that craved attention and would love to cuddle. I found the cat I thought would be the best for what I wanted. It was orange, but he loved attention. Walking out of the room, this (quite ugly) orange cat in my arms...my eyes once again fell on that gray tiger cat. Instantly, I put down the scary orange cat and swooped Garry into my arms and my heart where he's been ever since.
I named him Garry after a good friend. Most of you know him as Cowboy. (COWBOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!) You know how it goes with animals. You always end up having some goofy nickname for them. That is where the name GarryBear came in. Sometimes we call him Bear.
Garry's favorite thing to do is cuddle. There is nothing he would rather be doing then laying in someone's lap. He loves to play with silly toys.
