A Moment of Weakness

I've been reading alot of greek poetry lately..not just Sappho, and it's been affecting me. I don't know if it's in a good way or not..but heres the newest sludge from my mind.:} happy holidays btw

A Moment of Weakness

In a moment of weakness
I gave in and lost control
What shall be the cost?

In a moment of weakness
All became so clear to me
The shadows of the years lost

In a moment of weakness
The sands of time ceased
And the world quit breathing

In a moment of weakness
My heart's ache was gone
And the darkness inside easing

In a moment of weakness
My life was changed forever
A soul no longer under guard

In a moment of weakness
I did what I said I would never do
And kissed a green eyed bard
