Nemesis

she walks a new road
down a path less dark and lonely
my sword thirsts for her blood
and yet I wish to walk beside her

my nemesis lives and breathes
while my past has been destroyed
the village of my humble birth
a fiery womb for my newest self

her hand murdered the child I was
but I thank her for freeing me
I have become closest to her
a mirror image of her true soul

ah my closest dearest enemy
come to me and offer all
enter my embrace of steel
and free us from ourselves
