What would you give?

What would you give
for a love that lasts forever

The guilt of blood that weighs on your soul
The screams within that disturb your sleep
The evil of your dark past

Would you pray
Would you beg
Would you cry

What would you accept
for a love that has always been

Forgiveness for the wrongs you have done
Laughter that soothes your rest
The bright path of your future

Would you pray
Would you beg
Would you cry

What would I give to show you
a love that lasts forever

The space beside my soul
My arms to ease your dreams
The knowledge of what you were

I would pray
I would beg
I would cry

What would I accept to know
your love that has always been

Belief that you are not what you were
That your dreams are my own
That I will never walk alone

I would pray
I would beg
I would cry
