Drowning in Blue

is your heart mine
can I hold it tenderly
am I in your thoughts
driving you to insanity

your lips I must touch
against my eager own
eyes so blue I drown
willingly I die there

your soul catches mine
holds it tenderly
protects from all harm
and yet is so blind

a random touch
sends my senses reeling
my heart aching
from just being so near

I tremble slightly
in my dreams of you
my moans of desire
you mistake as nightmares

hold me closer
protect me from the night
I shall be patient
and hold your heart soon
