Katie the catapult

If you've ever read any of my fiction, you may have noticed little bits of humor and quotes after my notes at the end of my stories. Have you ever been curious as to what a "Katiepult" is? Well, you wouldn't be the first. Or likely the last.
Katiepult was first invented way back in 1997 in a little corner of the Internet called Xenite.com's Therapeutic Poetry Center or Iap's for short. This was in the days of "10 winters ago" and Callisto, and several of us had little adventures/inane fun pretending online. There were three of us, CB, Callisto and myself, and on one of these occasions we propped up CB on her new cross (complete with sports bottle) and strapped Callisto to her comfy chair (with electric switch to power plant) to watch TV. Unfortunately, we couldn't immediately come up with anything for me to have for my very own TV watching comfort. But soon, (and I believe it was CB) thought that since I was the Warlord in Training, perhaps a catapult would do? And of course, I just had to name it and being as I'm soooo witty (quit smirking...I see you) I named her Katie. Catapult...Cat-apult...Kat-apult...Katiepult! Tada!
Since Katiepult was born she's become a lively person (well, lively wooden construct of war) in her own right. From being my constant companion when I go to "Pillage and Plunder" to being the official ride of the mansion. She loves the last one, after all who wouldn't love flinging naked amazons off the high parapets for mutual fun and excitement. (Far more fun then the bickering in the halls)
Before some nitpicker emails me *smirk*, Katiepult is an onager, which is a roman type of catapult like the above.
So that's the story of Katiepult and how she came into being. A bit of imaginary fun, a bit of an alter-ego, but I wouldn't live without her.

Well first off, Katiepult has guest starred in several Xena episodes: A Good Day, Siege of Amphipolis, To Helicon and Back. I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.
Katiepult loves Diablo II:Lords of Destruction! In fact, when she heard the expansion was coming out, she tried out for a monster job and got one. As what you ask? A catapult of course! Bad Barbarian hitting my Katiepult!!! Bad Barb!
A game I haven't played in a long time is: Age of Empires which features Katiepult! I used to love making dozens of catapults and have them follow my knights around on patrol. I wish I knew where she is hording the money she makes from all these appearances though.

OMG! Someone shrunk Katiepult and put her on a watch! I can't decide if this is just wrong or if I have to get myself one!
