  • Distribution. South America. The specimens I've raised came from French Guyana.
  • Ovum. Small grey, covered with a brown glue.
  • Foodplants. Ligustrum sp.
  • Larva. The fifth instar larva average 9 cm. They are easy to rear and grow very fast, expecially on large leaved Ligustrum.
  • Cocoon. Slender, suspended by a peduncle to the foodplant.
  • Adults. Both sexes 13-14 cm.
