the warmth,
the passion,
constant thoughts
of the other
the sharing of deep within
never before shared.
Then there is
the longing,
when you cannot
be together,
imprisoned by
an emptiness
that only one
can fill
and wanting
seems a sentence
for life
for life does not
always offer us a choice.
Yet deep inside,
we know that,
knowing such love,
is worth all the pain,
and loneliness
for now each
is a part of
the others
spirit and soul
