| Here is the sequel to Heart Break. I hope you all like it. ********** LIFE AFTER YOU I lay in my bed thinking that night. So much had happen tonight. I mean first finding out about Lucky and Liz and then Lucky helping me hang my pictures. He was so nice about it. We had so many good laughs...I never realized how funny he truly was. And the music...that was amazing. He liked everything I liked. We have so much in common. Then Luke's. It felt so good to get out. I turned and looked out the window. My bed was warm. I felt so relaxed in his arms. It was almost scary...I mean...I didn't feel bad about being there with Lucky, Nikolas's brother. And even when Nikolas showed it didn't faze me. Which, I have to admit, makes me feel good inside. Knowing that I am through. I keep saying that in my head. I am through...and yet I know deep down. I ruined Nikolas. I broke his heart and his trust. I watched him freak out at his Uncle for lying and he knew him FOREVER. Why would he forgive me...the blackmailing, courtland girl? But I don't care. Tonight made me smile and that is what I need to start over again. To laugh and smile, not worry about everything. I closed my eyes and could feel and calmness cool over my body. A WEEK LATER "Are you serious?" I watched him nodd in shame. "So you are telling me you have NEVER had a FUNNEL CAKE!? What is wrong with you!? I mean really." I put my hands on my hips. "I'm sorry...I wasn't brought up in Brooklyn!" He reached over and tried to snatch a bit of her cake. I swatted his hand away. "Excuse me?" I raised my eyebrow at him "I have heard that your child hood wasn't exactly normal to say the least...I just expected you to have funnel cake...I mean...really!" I started to laugh at him. "Well, why don't you give me bit of it and I will tell you if i have ever had it before." He started to lean over closer to her. She was beautiful. He loved it when he could get her to smile. Her smile was worth all the effort. I looked at him. His are was resting on the back of my chair. I could feel my tummy start to do flip flops over and over again. I felt like a little school child. "Alright...you can have a bit. But I will decide how much you should get..." "I can live with that...now hurry up. I am DYING to try that." I cut the Funnel Cake and scupped it up on my fork. I lifted it and raised it to his mouth. He slowly opened it keeping his eyes locked on mine. He took the bit. Sugar and pastry instantly ran through his mouth. "Mmmm...that...issh...weally...goodt." I looked away from his eyes and onto his mouth where he was enjoying the cake. "Yah...well see what you have missed? Now next time when I say that we need to walk the extra distance you should believe me. Most of my ideas are actually pretty good!" "Yah they are." Liz watched as Gia feed Lucky some cake. It made her so angry. "LUCKY! I have been trying to get a hold of you for days now. where have you been?" He turned to see Liz walking over to them. "Been busy with Gia lately." "Oh..." SHe looked at her. SHe hated Gia with every molecule in her body. "Well...why don't we get together sometime this week?" "Sorry can't do." He looked at his watch. "Gia we should jet...I don't wanna be late for the movie." "YOu two are going out tonight?" sHe looked at him and then back at Gia. I loved watching Lizard squirm. I knew it ate her up that Lucky and I were so close. I also knew that Nikolas probably told Liz about me and Lucky at the club a couple of weeks ago. But I didn't care. I was having fun and no one especially LIZ was gonna make me back off from Lucky. "Yah...good idea. I can't wait till you see 'Exit Wounds' you are gonna flip!" He stood up. "Well, I don't know...but you seem to think it is a good idea so why not! See yah liz." EVENING AT KELLY'S OUTSIDE "Lucky I had such a good time with you AGAIN! How do you always do that?" I sat down and took a bit of my ice cream "Do what? Go to movies?" He let out a chuckle I laughed "No...make me smile and laugh...and always let me have a good time? I love that." I took another lick He looked at her lips. He noticed a little piece of the ice cream cone on the corner of her lip. He leaned in closer to her. "You...have a little..." He touched her lips. I closed my eyes as he touched my lips. His hands were so soft and gentle. I wanted him to kiss me all night. But I was scared of what that would do to us. I mean what if it was a mistake..."Oh..." I couldn't help myself I looked into his eyes. They were so deep and blue. I loved looking at them or into them either one was fine with me. Nikolas stood watching the intimate moment between Gia and his brother. He didn't wanna say anything. What would he say. He needed to know what was goin' on. He leaned into her and hesitated for a moment but then continued to move his lips towards his. They finally touched. His first kiss with Ms. Campbell. It felt so amazing. I moved my lips closer to his. Making the kiss more passionately. I didn't ever want this to end. I could feel his hand slowly rise to my face. Stroking my chin. He pulled away after a couple of minutes. "Gia..." I put my finger to his lips. "It's alright..." I leaned in and continued our kiss. Nikolas felt like he was gonna die. How could they be kissing! I mean! What had he done. It was only days before the Deception party. He promised he would take Gia...and now she would go with Lucky! It ate him up inside. He wanted her back so badly! "Lucky..." His lips instantly parted from mine. I turned to see Nikolas there standing watching us. I looked at Lucky. He looked calm. "Hey Nikolas! Whats up?" "I was gonna ask you the same thing! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH GIA!" I almost slapped him again. What did it look like! He was kissing me and you ruined it! "Listen Nikolas..." "No you listen here little brother. Keep your hands off my women!" He turned to face Gia. "C'mon we need to talk." He held out his hand I lookd at him with disgust. "And since when have I become your WOMEN!? I don't recall us EVER get back together. And I don' wanna get back. It's over Nikolas just like you said. Except I said it a lot nicer. I didn't add Courtland HOOKER in it!" He stood up "NIk you called her that?" His anger was beyond anything he had ever felt! "Yah...but I was mad...I wasnt' htinking-" Lucky punched his brother. "Don't you ever talk about her like that EVER again! If you weren't such a fool you would've worked it out!" I looked at Lucky and then back at Nikolas. "Ah...." I turned and walked into Kelly's. "GIA!" He ran after her. "GIA! Where are you going." "Lucky you just punched your brother! I don't want you two to loose what you have...not becuase of some BLACKMAILER!" I turned to go up stairs He quickly grabbed her hand. "Listen, me and my brother will be fine. I don't wanna loose you Gia. No because of that." He pointed outside. "I...I..." I put my hands in my head "I don't know what I want Lucky. I know I could feel something...but..." He moved closer. He put his hands on her cheeks and cupped her face. "Listen, we are both at the same place. I agree I don't know what I want either but I know...that I feel something for you. and I am not gonna let it slip between my fingers.
