| Belonging! Nik is sitting at home in front of the fire reading a book. He has a cup of water beside him. He is wearing a nice sweater and looking good. All the lights are off except for the fire and a little table lamp. Well, it was time to go to bed. Tomorrow he had a big day full of trying to promote Juan. He got up and turned of the gas fire and the lamp. He began to walk up stairs, Gia was already in bed she went to sleep about an hour ago. As he went up the stairs her heard a weird noise coming from one of the rooms. It was almost like a crying or sobbing sound. "Helena better not be trying something!" He walked over to Gia's room and put his eye to the door. The noise was coming from Gia's room. He was about knock but decided that if Helena was trying something that it would be better if he came in quick and fast to surprise her. He wiped open that door to find no one in the room except for Gia. He listened again and her the noise, he turned his focus to Gia's bed. He saw her move. "Gia, are you okay?" Why couldn't she wake. She could hear Nik's voice. But all she could see was her hiding in the corner of the kitchen. She was so little. She was crying wasn't someone listening to her! God, Gia wake up! "Gia, Gia, come on this isn't funny! If this is one of your little movie jokes I am not finding it funny." She wasn't listening, she usually would give up but she wasn't. He walked over a little closer. He got to her bed and she still wasn't moving. She felt like she was in a comma, but that couldn't be so. She hadn't hurt her head that day. What was that noise. She turned and saw him coming. The little girl began to cry louder. Wake up. Oh god someone wake me up. PLEASE!! "Gia..." Now he was scared what if Helena had...done...poisoned her. A way for her to get back at him for not obeying him. He sat on her bed and began to shake her. "NIK!" She almost yelled it, or at least she had thought. "Gia, are you okay?" He looked in her eyes and could tell that she was afraid of something or someone. "What? Oh yah I am fine." SHe couldn't let Nik know anything. He wouldn't understand. He was a spoiled rich kid. He didn't understand anything other then how to order his servants around. Be cool Gia act as if you had a...a...dream. Well then he will ask about what. Okay so a dream about you stuck in a...wait why do I have to explain anything to him. Why would he even care?! "Yah I am fine. Why are you here?" He could tell that she wasn't telling the truth, but he didn't feel like fighting with her at 2 in the morning. "Okay. Well, I thought I heard a...the window open. So I thought I would come and check it out. Well, goodnight" He was heading for the door hopeing that she wouldn't go into why would you care. "Oh, okay well thanks. But I am really tired so..." She was hopeing that he would leave fast. "Yah, same here." He closed the door behind him. Well that was a little weird. I wonder what she was dreaming about. oh-well it didn't matter, like she would tell him anyways. That was too close. She couldn't let that happen again. Let what happen, she didn't even truly understand what had happened. She had that dream again about the little girl. She hated that dream. The little girl couldn't move and that man...he was coming and she kept crying. The memories of the dream almost made her wanna cry. "Good morning!" "Yah, good morning!" She needed to make sure that she was really happy otherwise he might ask questions. She couldn't afford for him to ask questions. But yet she didn't know why. She just knew that she didn't feel like getting asked questions. "So...what are you up too? That isn't my orange juice is it?" "ummm...this?" He was looking at his glass full of her orange juice. "Well, you see I was thinking and I decided that..." Before he could say anything she quickly added "Because I am such an amazing person that you KNEW I would allow you to have some?" "Yah, something like that." He hoped that worked. He hated arguing with her. "Well, help yourself then. I gotta go. Big day today see yah tonight.' Should she thank him for checking on her? No... "Hey Nik?" "Yah?"He looked up from the magazine in his hand. "Thanks for making sure I was okay last night. I was fine, I just wanted to say thanks. It is nice to know that you are...well you know" How could she say that she was ever grateful for him waking her from such a wretched dream? Plus if he DID ask he wouldn't care. 'Yah I know. No problem." He smiled. He couldn't believe that she had just said thank-you. He loved it when she was like this. "well, I really need to go. Bye ho...bye" She couldn't believe she had almost called him honey. What was going on in her mind! "...ah...yah bye" His heart felt like it was up in his throat. he could barely breath. She was being so nice. He had never seen this side of her before. She was so beautiful. "Do you mind if I come and sit with you, that is unless Liz is coming to sit with you." She had hoped that Liz was but yet she did enjoy Emily and she was Nik's friend and if she ever wanted anything to happen with her and...what was she thinking?!Her and Nik? He could barely stand her none the less love her. Typical male never could love her! where did that come from? "Well actually I was just sitting her thinking. You are more then welcome to sit." She was glad Gia was there. Her and Liz weren't exactly best friends anymore. She knew that she had been spending a lot of time with Zander and Liz with Lucky...it just felt that Liz would always pick the side against Zander. She hoped that Lucky would talk some sense into her. Emily's voice interupted her thoughts. "Oh thanks." She sat down and smiled at Emily. "So...how is Zander?" Why did she just ask that? She was shocked that Gia even knew or remembered his name. "Well, actually he is doing good. Why do you ask?" "I don't really know. I just thought since we are trying to be nice to each other I should ask. Sorry, if I envaded an area I shouldn't have." "Well, to tell you the truth I was expecting some snarky comment from you about him." "Yah I know same here. How is Juan taking it?" Why was she being so nice? "HA! I guess you haven't heard? She had thought about it and she thought that Zander was the better man between the two. Juan could be nice but lets face it Zander had it all. the looks, the body, the voice the eyes... But why, it wasn't like she hadn't had worse things yelled at her before. But she knew she needed to get out of there. She quickly grabbed her purse and stormed off. "THAT WAS ENOUGH ELIZABETH!" He couldn't believe that he was ever interested in Liz. There was nothing for her but anger now. "YAH LIZ! SHE WAS STANDIND UP FOR ME!" She couldn't believe Liz. She then heard clicking of shoes coming from the other end of the docks. She couldn't bear the thought of having to deal with Helena or Liz or anyone else. Emily said that Gia had stood up for her when Juan came and bugged her. Gia better not be hurt. Why did he even care. Well, that was obvious he cared about her and the thought of loosing her hurt so much. It was the most un-bearable thought ever. She had done so much for him. He had began to laugh again. She would do the most outragious things and he loved it. He couldn't drive fast enough to make sure see was okay. He knew she would go home it was HER home and all he could think about was protecting her from...anyone and that included LIZ!! Damn her for even thinking that she could fit in! He was right! When he called her a gutter slut! Wait HIM? No Liz had called her that! But so had he! She never thought that she would meet someone like him again. And it was even worse because it was Nik's friend. And he liked liz. She wanted so much to be want Nik needed and wanted. To make him forget liz. She had spent all her time in PC trying to hide from her feelings and fears and all she really wanted to do was run into his arms and for her to protect her. "GIA!! OH GOD GIA ARE YOU HERE?!" He puts his arm around her and pulls her close. He had wanted to kiss her from the time her saw her smile and laugh. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. God how she wanted to kiss him. But she was so afraid. He leaned into her more and their lips touched. It was like fire works exploding inside him. He was totally complete. His lips felt so good.
