Here you exist,
There is someone who cares.
Without warmth or touch,
Wanting more for you,
But fearing you expect too much.
It is in your every thought and deed,
But life concerns others,
Beyond your own needs.
Life is so tough,
You pray hanging on to dreams,
Will somehow be enough.
Where truth cannot hide,
You know dreams are not enough,
For you remain empty inside.
So out of reach,
It brings you the happiness,
You so long for and seek.
