it illuminates the room....
as your love illuminates my life....
I rise and look out the window..
and wonder if you will always be,
as far away as the moon seems...
Will I ever look deep,
into your eyes,
to see the love I know is there?
Will I ever touch
the face I have come to love?

the tenderness of your kiss?
or feel the passion we share?
All this I ponder
as I gaze at the moon
seeing it there in the sky,
an intricate part of the heavens..
