REMEMBERING
When I was a girl
I loved to run
and jump and play
That is how I spent
all my day.
When I was a teen
I thought I could
do almost anything.
Some things I tried
some things I dared not.
In my child baring years
I busied myself
with wiping a nose,
cooking a meal,
kissing bruised egos.
Now I have grown old
I spend my time
remembering the times gone by.
The things I dared not try.
I find that I have
no regrets,
I have the
beautiful memories
that others seem to forget.
And when I lay to rest
I will of done my very best.
I pray my offsprings
do the rest.
Carry on the traditions
started by this lady...me.
