M Campaign
The purpose of this page to make M better known. One approach is to ensure that this programming language is found in search engines, encyclopedias and other sources of reference. When such a lack is found, this page acts as a control center from where we encourage you to write to the company that handles the product so that they consider setting aside a few bytes for a description of this language.
If you find other sources that you feel should have an entry on M, drop us an e-mail with as many details as possible. We’ll take it on from there. Likewise if you find references to M on the net, please send us a little note. We would like to mention these places.

I tried looking up the programming language M in your online reference and was very disappointed to find that there is no such entry for this language, which, after 40 years is still alive and kicking.

We need information about the following products:
- Compton' s online service at http://www.comptons.com/
- Compton Multimedia Encyclopaedia 1998
- The WorldBook Encyclopaedia 1998
- Microsoft Encarta 1998
- Grolier Multimedia Encyclopaedia 1998
For each of the above:
- Try searching for MUMPS
- Try searching for M
- Try searching for C and PASCAL and BASIC
If other languages are present, but M isn't, send the company an e-mail (cc'ing the same to us) and drop us a note, with product name, version and other relevant information. Don't forget to include the company's e-mail (preferably) or form to which people can write to.
