If one can ask so much, I would have the world to accept this joke as its true nature." About Kenshin: Kenshin was born as Shinta. When little Shinta was around 8, his parents died of cholera and later was sold to traders. One one of their travles, they were attacked by bandits. He tried to fight them but three women that he brefriended (Akane, Sakura, and Kasumi) pulled him and begged the bandits to spare the life of little Shinta. Showing no pity, the bandits killed the three girls. Just as they were about to kill Kenshin, Hiko Seijuro appeared and killed the bandits and left. Hiko returned the next day to bury the corpses, but found Shinta has just finshed burying them. hiko changed Shinta's name to Kenshin because it is not fit for a swordsman's name and took him so he could train him the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. When Kenshin was a little older, he wanted to leave so he could protect those who are weak but Hiko insisted that he stay and continue his training but he still left. From there, Kenshin worked for the Ishin Shishi as a hitokiri (assassin) to help dawn a new peaceful era. His skills with using the sword were excellent and earned the name Hitokiri Battousai (master assassin) and he is also known for the "X" scar on his face. At the end of the Bakumatsu he changed his ways and became a rurouni (wandering swordsman). He now carries a skakbatou (reversed-edged sword) to keep himself from killing again. Teh years have passed. As he was passing by Tokyo he was chansed by a woman who accuses him of killing 3 people. Later the real culprit who is pretending to be Hitokiri Battousai appeared and killed some men. Maoru back to her Dojo. The next day, the guy went to the Kamiya dojo with an intention on taking revenge on the Kamiya clan and fought Kaoru. Kaoru was about to loose when Kenshin suddenly showed up and beat the guy. Kaoru then realized that Kenshin was the real Hitokiri Battousai. Kenshin got Kaoru's trust so she let him stay at the Kamiya Odjo. Kenshin is polite and most of the time quiet. When he is suprised or confused, he would say "oro?" |
| Kaoru Kamiya Age: 17 AKA: Jo-chan, Racoon girl Kaoru quote: "... sword that protects life." About Kaoru: Kaoru is the mistress of the Kamiya Dojo. She's been running the Dojo ever since her father died in the war. She is the master of Kamiya Kashin Ryu (a technique that makes a sword use as a non-killing weapon for protection) in her dojo but now it seems that Yahiko and Yutaro are the only students that she has. She can be very agressce and hits Kenshin a lot but deep inside her is a great care for her love, Kenshin. She is kind but gets jealous hen Megumi is talking to Kenshin or when Sano and Yahiko are talking about beautiful women. She loves to cook but unfortunately, she's not good at it. |
